Please note that the requirement for a credit card showing your full first name and surname without abbreviations is a strict policy set directly by the car provider's Terms and Conditions.
Rental providers enforce these rules globally for security and fraud prevention.
And in case they asked to purchase their insurance, so it's an exception from their end.
