I had a disappointing experience with TV 2 Play regarding their so-called 14-day cancellation right.
When I signed up, it appeared that I had a standard 14-day withdrawal period like many other digital services in the EU. However, in practice this is very misleading. Even though I was within the 14 days, my request for a refund was rejected because the service was considered “taken into use” simply by logging in and using the platform.
This is not made clear enough at the time of purchase. The conditions around losing the withdrawal right are hidden in fine print and are not communicated in a transparent way during signup.
As a result, I was unable to get a refund even though I acted quickly after purchase. The subscription was only cancelled for future billing, not refunded.
I believe TV 2 Play should make this much clearer to customers before payment, especially that using the service even once can remove the right of withdrawal.
Overall, the communication feels misleading and not customer-friendly.
