I am genuinely disgusted by what I received in the mail from this company. It is the first time I have ever been physically revolted upon opening a package. Not only was shipping fairly slow, but it was clear no thought or care went into delivering the goods.

I ordered a cushion cover with an inner filling. Inside the box, the cushion filling had been crammed inside, and the cushion cover had been haphazardly placed on top with no protective packaging whatsoever.

The cushion cover has what appears to be white crusted marks or mould spotting on it. There is a small hole in the fabric. The inner cushion filling is even worse - it came covered in strange debris, there are feathers poking out of it, there are loose threads and flecks of black spots all over it. In addition, there are patches of what appears to be black mould or deep stains on one of the corners.

I genuinely believe I was given either used stock or goods that had been improperly stored, thus creating conditions of damp and/or mould.

I would usually give a company benefit of the doubt, but these defects are incredibly hard to miss! This is not a case of a minor hole in the cushion fabric, this is a case of my being shipped blatantly dirty and used goods. Human hands had to put my order together!

I feel insulted and outraged.

I cannot recommend this small business enough! Marlena has curated such a wonderful collection of goods and Collective Paper Co’s in-house designs are equally as lovely with a large variety of themes to choose from. Each parcel is so thoughtfully put together that it feels like receiving a gift from a good friend. I genuinely feel this business goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and I am so very excited to watch this store grow as new line-ups and designs are added. Thank you so much!
