FInally got my order today 14 Oct - held up at Spanish customs. TO be expected. Order #AUK00157160R (21 August 2024). I was expecting a delay but not almost 3 months, plus 60 Euros in tax and online form filling. The sender should sort that out.

The worst was the inadequate international delivery. Rubbish packing, meant curry jar broken and contaminated the oats. Stinking mess. Half the packing wasn't used to pack the jars. Jars all loose in the corners. The biscuits had better packing. Jars in one side, loose with no enough packing on the ends. Photos to prove. Won't be ordering again.

I was cautious but I paid for Win 11 pro, and got the key in minutes. Tried it and it worked. If it continues to work, good. If it fails I will be back to update. But so far very pleased. Especially as Win would not recognise my Win 10 purchase to upgrade it to 11.

I chose virgin thinking Sir Rich's would provide a fair service in the confusing mess of the pension world. But it doesn't match the hype.
After 5 years I wanted to drawdown from the stakeholder pension, like I can in my much older pension with a different provider.
But my virgin fund in can only be transferred to another fund to be drawn down or as an annuity.
I was shocked. The virgin pension web site and brochure brag how modern its pensions are, and provides great options and services ever since the pension reforms. This is not true in my situation.
The other option is to withdraw the lot in one go and get taxed heavily. Sure 25% is tax free, but the rest will be taxed at 40%, as it's based on my annual income tax.
So now I'm trying to see which company I can transfer to, but first I have to wait for some paper documents to arrive by snail mail.

In brief (I have all documents). I requested to get my domain hosted elsewhere. After several months of emails they had passed it to some other company. So I cannot get the domain transferred that I have held for 5 years

They are to be avoided in Spain. They don't explain the process or assist in minimizing costs. They keep luggage with personal belongings as 'hostage'. They failed to provide transport from main city to small city. Advised no idea how long it would take but warehouse fee is 30E a day. So I found a delivery company and they phoned BWS. Then BWS became difficult. I was not put off. Would not allow other company to get items until bill paid which took a day to email. Can't pay by credit card only by Spanish bank (can take 3 days)! We had just arrived so I used online bank with preset Euros. They charge 30 a day for storage of 2cu m of items which are in storage due to their incompetence.

Paid tax on personal possessions which is a first in customs in my experience, and they say on their web site no charge usually but they might.

Can't negotiate with BWS but have to accept their excessive charges. 850 Euro for A bit of paperwork in effect. Paid Friday but they leave early, no time to process, have to wait till Mon and pay more storage so they can release the items. Then we got another bill for storage, this time it was 300 but we queried it 'oh sorry should be 100'.

Useless people who always say “they don’t know” when asked for details or say 'that’s someone else’s job'. High time this industry was transparent and open to competitive tender, with process steps and costs in writing. Negligent and unprofessional.

Then my new delivery company turned up but customs won't release luggage unless we take the whole wood crate! So more cost to deliver, then we have to get rid of it (2m cubed).

The carrier didn't advise this when sending to Spain: clearly not their problem once paid. Another part of this crappy process.

Advice: take luggage on plane with you and pay the excess.

Not sure why it takes 2-3 days to transfer UK to Spain, and only minutes from UK to Colombia.

Although the app says its been done after a few mins, it has a link to a caveat to say it can take 2 days. Not sure if that's working or cal days.

Very cool practical system for designing and creating complete business suite of documents and corporate style guide. I know this because I've spend hours and days with customers designing (and re-designong) business logos, web sites and stationery. This is quick and good.

A little misleading in that they say its 'quick' but they rely on gov departments to do the actual checks, who take much longer. The communications were good once the process started. My request went to DB Scotland who took 3x as long as England to process my application compared with my husband. Due to different country of issue passports, even though we both lived in England and are Brit Citz. They made it clear they don't do apostille but didn't explain that we could have sent it to an apostille company in the UK before posting it out to Colombia. Why don't they have this as part of the process - 'select an apostille partner'? This was confusing as we had to prove where we lived in Colombia for them to post it to us, which suggested we could only have it sent to us. When we got the cert (DHL) we sent them to an apostille company in the UK at more cost and time lost. Overall it's focused on DBS for UK residents. I have dozens of emails and text communications (many duplicates, and some said the DBS is ready but after phoning and texting, I was told it wasn't). The other poor part is the gov depts who do the checks are not good at communicating the status accurately all on their web site. I had to phone them (Scotland) in the end for an explanation and to chase up the process. And it cost a lot to get done. In Colombia where I am at present, the national police check is free, online and instant.
