📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe pull request adds specification authoring guidance, a specification template, and an advisory pull-request workflow. minimal-review — advisory review
Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope: Matches the stated intent exactly — one AGENTS.md bullet pointing at the new file, plus the file itself. No drive-by changes.
Clobber: None. git log on both paths shows no recent unrelated work this PR could be stepping on; AGENTS.md's Conventions section gains a bullet without touching its neighbors.
Correctness: The template is internally consistent — heading hierarchy is clean, all five EARS forms have matching worked examples, the frontmatter genuinely starts at line 1 (the property the PR body says the linter requires), and the AGENTS.md link resolves to the file added in this same diff. The frontmatter schema differs from the 12 existing specs' (id/title/kind/status/tracking-issue/supersedes vs. this template's id/title/status/owner/epic/arch/updated), but the PR body discloses that up front as intentional, net-new-only work — not something this review needs to re-litigate.
Not checked: The SOURCE line's commit hash (0b720fa3… in gominimal/foundry) can't be verified from this checkout — it points at another repo. Nothing else in this PR needed a build.
No findings. Clean, well-scoped docs addition.
What ran
5 probe(s), all self-reported — every entry below is the model's own account of what it ran. None of it is host-attested, so none of it can gate a blocking verdict.
Verification log
1. Diff scope check: confirm only AGENTS.md + docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md changed, matches PR body's stated intent — self-reported
pr.json changed_files lists exactly AGENTS.md and docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md. Both hunks are additive (one 4-line bullet, one new 199-line file); nothing else touched, no revert of unrelated work.
2. git log --oneline -15 -- docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md AGENTS.md — exit 0 · self-reported
No prior history for TEMPLATE.md (new file). AGENTS.md's last touches were unrelated (lifecycle hooks, min dash, docs rework); this PR's bullet does not overwrite or contradict any recent addition to the Conventions section.
3. Compare new spec frontmatter (id/title/status/owner/epic/arch/updated) against an existing shipped spec's frontmatter (docs/specs/11-spec-lifecycle-hooks) — self-reported
Existing spec uses id/title/kind/status/tracking-issue/supersedes — a different schema from the new template's. This is not a defect: the PR body explicitly discloses the format is net-new, that none of the 12 existing specs are written against it, and that no conversion is proposed. Nothing to report.
4. Internal consistency check of TEMPLATE.md: heading hierarchy, EARS pattern block vs. example requirements, frontmatter-starts-at-line-1 claim, AGENTS.md link target existence — self-reported
Headings are a flat H1/H2 hierarchy with no skips. The five EARS forms (Ubiquitous/Event/State/Optional/Unwanted) each have a matching worked example in the Requirements section. Frontmatter (
---) is the file's first line, consistent with the PR body's claim that the linter requires this. The AGENTS.md link to docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md resolves to the file added in the same diff. No inconsistencies found.
5. rg for trailing whitespace, tabs, and prior use of a SOURCE-stamp/drift-check convention elsewhere in the repo — exit 1 · self-reported
No trailing whitespace or tabs in the new file. No pre-existing SOURCE-line convention in this repo to be consistent with (grep across docs/scripts turned up none) — this PR introduces it fresh, matching its own stated rationale (foundry#22/#23) rather than contradicting an established local pattern.

The spec format was decided at the 2026-08-27 kickoff. This repo holds 12 specs, none of them written against it, and nothing an author can open and start typing into. The template is authored and versioned in gominimal/foundry and arrives here as a copy. The SOURCE line in its header names the commit it came from, so a drift check can tell whether this copy is behind; edits made only here are lost the next time it is updated. Template only. The advisory linter that checks specs against this format is still in review upstream and lands separately. Refs: gominimal/foundry#30
A copy of gominimal/foundry:spec/deploy/spec-lint.yml, byte for byte. foundry's spec-drift.yml fails when this file and its source disagree, so edit it there and open a PR here. Only this file is copied. The checker itself stays in foundry and this job checks it out at run time, the same way minimal-review does: a PR here cannot edit the linter that reads it, and the linter upgrades in one place for every repo that installs it. It cannot fail. Every step carries continue-on-error, so neither a finding nor a broken checkout turns into a red check — the format was decided as advisory and the exit code is where that would quietly get reversed. Findings arrive as one PR comment, edited in place. It lints only the specs a PR touches, and only <slug>/<slug>.md within them. The twelve specs here predate the format and are not being backfilled, and the architecture.md sitting beside five of them is not a spec. minimal-review — advisory review
Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope: matches the stated intent exactly — an advisory, non-blocking spec-lint CI check plus the two docs artifacts (AGENTS.md pointer, docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md) it depends on. No stray hunks.
Clobber: none. spec-lint.yml is a new file; the AGENTS.md hunk only adds a bullet; TEMPLATE.md is new. git log --oneline -15 -- .github/workflows/ shows this follows the same already-merged "installed file from gominimal/foundry" pattern used for minimal-review.yml, not a one-off.
Correctness: the workflow is defensive throughout (continue-on-error on every step, quiet-exit on missing linter/output, one comment edited in place rather than duplicated) and its app-token scoping/permissions (pull-requests: write, owner: gominimal, repositories: foundry) exactly mirror the existing minimal-review.yml convention. Hand-traced the changed-files filter (TEMPLATE.md / NN-spec-<slug>/NN-spec-<slug>.md / self-test fallback) against all 11 current docs/specs/* directories and found no mismatch. The AGENTS.md addition is consistent with TEMPLATE.md's own "WHERE IT LIVES" section. No secrets, no dependency changes.
Not checked: the referenced spec_lint.py itself lives in gominimal/foundry, not this repo, so its actual lint behavior (what it flags, its markdown output format) is out of scope for this diff and unverifiable from here — that's fine since this PR only installs the caller, not the checker. Nothing here needed a build.
No findings — this looks like a clean, low-risk, convention-following infra change.

Verification log
1. Compare spec-lint.yml's app-token/permissions pattern against the existing installed-file workflows (minimal-review.yml, docs-hotfix.yml, promote.yml) — self-reported
rg for AW_BOT_APP_ID/AW_BOT_PRIVATE_KEY and
permissions:blocks across .github/workflows/. spec-lint.yml'sowner: gominimal, repositories: foundryapp-token scoping andcontents: read, pull-requests: writepermissions match the exact convention already used by minimal-review.yml (which also mints a foundry-scoped app token and posts PR comments under pull-requests: write). No deviation found.
2. Check whether adding a new .github/workflows/ file conflicts with AGENTS.md's 'frozen, CODEOWNER-gated, do not edit' rule — self-reported
Read CONTRIBUTING.md 'CI and the test-extension contract': workflow edits are allowed, they just require CODEOWNER review, which is exactly the gate this PR goes through. git log -- .github/workflows/ shows the same installed-file pattern already used for minimal-review.yml ('ci: install minimal-review...', 'ci: bring minimal-review current with foundry main'), so this is precedented, not a violation.
3. Check the changed-files filter logic in spec-lint.yml (TEMPLATE.md / docs/specs/NN-spec-<slug>/NN-spec-<slug>.md matching, and the self-test fallback) for correctness — self-reported
Traced the case statement and self-test branch by hand against docs/specs/ (
find docs/specs -maxdepth 2). The filename==dirname.md convention correctly matches all 11 existing spec directories; the self-test fallback only fires when no spec file changed, which isn't the case for this PR since TEMPLATE.md itself is added. No bug found.
4. Scan the diff for secrets/credentials — self-reported
rg -niE for password|secret|token|api[_-]?key|BEGIN ... across pr.diff, filtered out legitimate GH Actions secret/token references (secrets.AW_BOT_PRIVATE_KEY, github.token, steps.app-token). Nothing left over; no credential in the diff.
5. Check Cargo.lock/Cargo.toml/.minimal/minimal.toml for dependency changes in this PR — self-reported
pr.json's changed_files list is only .github/workflows/spec-lint.yml, AGENTS.md, docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md — no dependency manifests touched. (The modified .minimal/minimal.toml visible in the working tree is unrelated local state, not part of this PR's diff.)

minimal-review — advisory review
Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope: matches the stated intent exactly — two verbatim foundry copies (the spec template, the advisory lint workflow) plus a one-paragraph AGENTS.md pointer to the new convention. Nothing outside that.
Clobber: none. git log shows the template and workflow landed as two clean prior commits (fd664c3, 47ab282) that this merge just brings together; nothing reverted.
Correctness: the new spec-lint.yml mirrors minimal-review.yml's established pattern for a private-repo-checked-out linter (same permission scope, same pinned actions/checkout and actions/create-github-app-token SHAs, an even narrower app-token repo scope). The fork guard, the per-run continue-on-error "cannot fail" property, the touched-specs-only filtering (including the architecture.md exclusion and the self-test fallback), and the single-comment-edited-in-place posting logic all check out against the PR body's claims. .github/workflows/ is CODEOWNER-gated repo-wide, so a human review still gates this file landing despite AGENTS.md calling the directory "frozen" — the PR body acknowledges this explicitly and it doesn't change the enforcement mechanism.
Couldn't check: whether gominimal/foundry:spec/spec_lint.py (not in this repo) actually behaves as documented, or whether the workflow runs green in Actions — both require execution outside this sandbox's scope. No findings to report.
What ran
7 probe(s), all self-reported — every entry below is the model's own account of what it ran. None of it is host-attested, so none of it can gate a blocking verdict.
Verification log
1. Diff review of spec-lint.yml, AGENTS.md, docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md against pr.diff — self-reported
Read the full unified diff and the PR body's stated rationale for each of the three changed files; all three hunks trace directly to the stated intent (install the foundry spec template + its advisory lint workflow, document the convention in AGENTS.md). No unrelated or clobbering changes.
2. Compared spec-lint.yml's permissions, action pins, and app-token pattern against .github/workflows/minimal-review.yml — self-reported
minimal-review.yml uses the identical
contents: read/pull-requests: writepermission block and posts PR comments successfully under it, and pins the same actions/checkout and actions/create-github-app-token SHAs. spec-lint.yml's token is scoped to onlyfoundry(narrower than minimal-review'sfoundry,broker), which is tighter, not looser. No permission or pinning defect.
3. grep for the job-level fork guard and traced its correctness for same-repo vs fork PRs — self-reported
if: github.event.pull_request.head.repo.full_name == github.repositorycorrectly skips fork PRs (no secrets available to mint the app token) and runs for same-repo branches, matching the PR body's claim.
4. rg for secrets/credentials in pr.diff — self-reported
No literal credentials, API keys, or private key material found in the diff.
5. git log -15 -- .github/workflows/ and -- docs/specs/, git show 47ab282 --stat — self-reported
The workflow and template were authored as two clean, separately-scoped commits (fd664c3, 47ab282) before this merge; no revert or clobber of prior work. Confirmed .github/CODEOWNERS gates the whole repo via
* @gominimal/minimalists, so the new workflow file still goes through required review despite AGENTS.md's 'frozen' language — the PR body addresses this directly and the mechanism (human CODEOWNER review) is unaffected by this diff.
6. Checked AGENTS.md's CI lane map table for a missing spec-lint row — self-reported
The table already omits two other real, merged workflows (ci-kani.yml, minimal-review.yml) under the same 'not one of the five required aggregators' logic, so spec-lint's absence is consistent with pre-existing convention rather than a defect introduced by this PR. Not reported.
7. Traced the changed-file-to-spec filtering shell logic (case statement, architecture.md exclusion, self-test fallback) line by line — self-reported
Filtering correctly restricts to docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md and /.md, excludes sibling architecture.md files, and the self-test fallback only fires when the workflow file itself is in the PR's changed-file list and TEMPLATE.md exists in the checked-out tree. No off-by-one or unreachable branch found.

Spec lint
Advisory. None of this blocks the merge; the review decides. Advisory, and never a merge gate. Linter: |
This copy was stamped d722751 and taken before the `tier:` field existed. Three foundry commits have changed `spec/template.md` since, and none of them reached here. The gap is not cosmetic. The old copy teaches requirements written with only `verify:`, `property:` and `proof:`, so the linter that reads it reports five P009 — every requirement in the template stating no tier. A template that fails the check it exists to teach is worse than none: the first person to copy it inherits five findings and no idea which are theirs. Refreshed from gominimal/foundry@842b37a, keeping the SOURCE block and restamping it. What arrives with it: - `tier:` on every worked requirement, and the T0/T1/T2/T3/none ladder with `harness:` for T2. - P012 — a universal written into `property:` is what T1 asks for, so a T0 carrying one is reported. Raise the tier, or say in Design reasoning why it stays. - The escalation call is made while the spec is written, not deferred to a review, because a tier above T0 is a constraint on code nobody has written. - NAME THE TEST THAT WILL EXIST, and the `tier: none` case for a behaviour nothing can observe. `docs/specs/TEMPLATE.md` now lints to six findings, all S006 and S007, and all of them right — a template's prompts are unfilled by definition. That is the expected output, not a defect to paper over. minimal-review — advisory review
Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope: matches intent — installs the foundry-sourced spec template and its advisory, non-blocking spec-lint workflow, plus one AGENTS.md pointer to the template. Three commits (add template, add workflow, refresh template to a newer foundry revision) land together against main, which is why both files show as brand-new in the diff rather than modified; verified via git log --graph that nothing merged into main is being reverted or clobbered.
Clobber: none found.
Correctness: the workflow's design matches its own description almost exactly — fork PRs are correctly skipped before secrets would matter (belt-and-suspenders, since pull_request already withholds secrets from forks), every step is continue-on-error so the job can't turn red, and the app-token pattern for checking out gominimal/foundry matches minimal-review.yml, docs-hotfix.yml, and promote.yml exactly. One real bug found and reproduced: the docs/specs/*/*.md case-arm filter (lines 120-122) can over-match paths more than two segments deep, because bash case-pattern * matches /, unlike filesystem globbing — see the finding. It's currently latent since no spec directory here has a subdirectory, and the actual fix has to land in foundry's canonical copy per this file's own header. Two CodeRabbit threads on this PR (comment-author filtering, and a CODEOWNERS sync exception) are already marked resolved and are intentionally not re-raised. Nothing here needed a build to check — it's bash, YAML, and Markdown.
What ran

Verification log
1. bash repro of case-pattern glob over-matching nested paths — exit 0 · self-reported
Ran the exact case/dir/basename check from lines 120-122 against a synthetic path docs/specs/01-spec-foo/sub/sub.md (3 segments under docs/specs/, not the intended 2). It matched and passed the basename check, confirming the filter accepts more than /.md.
2. grep .github/workflows and scripts for the same */* glob shape — exit 0 · self-reported
Only spec-lint.yml uses this pattern; not a repeated defect elsewhere in the repo.
3. checked existing docs/specs/ tree for directories that would trigger the bug today — exit 0 · self-reported
All 12 spec directories are flat (only an optional architecture.md beside the spec file); none has a subdirectory, so the over-match is latent, not currently firing.
4. read threads.json for prior human-resolved review comments — self-reported
Two CodeRabbit threads are marked resolved: filtering the existing PATCH-target comment by github-actions[bot] author (spec-lint.yml ~line 190), and a proposed CODEOWNERS sync exception in AGENTS.md. Both are still literally present/absent as before in this diff, but per instructions a resolved thread is not re-raised regardless.
5. grep other workflows for AW_BOT_APP_ID / AW_BOT_PRIVATE_KEY usage — exit 0 · self-reported
Same vars/secrets pair is already used identically in minimal-review.yml, docs-hotfix.yml, and promote.yml, so the new create-github-app-token step follows an established pattern rather than inventing one.
6. git log/graph on base_sha vs head_sha to rule out a clobber — exit 0 · self-reported
a721015 (base) sits on main before this feature branch's own commits (fd664c3 add-template, 47ab282 add-spec-lint-workflow, 6d365fb merge-main, c83da5f refresh-template) were merged into it, which is why the diff shows both new files as wholly added rather than modified. No recent merged work is reverted or overwritten.

LOW · correctness · confidence 0.55
The spec-file filter is meant to accept only docs/specs/<dir>/<dir>.md (a spec, not a supporting doc like architecture.md beside it — the comment on line 114 says this explicitly). But the case pattern docs/specs/*/*.md doesn't stop * at a /: bash's case-pattern globbing lets * match slashes too, unlike filesystem pathname expansion. A changed file three or more levels under docs/specs/ whose basename matches its immediate parent directory's name — e.g. docs/specs/01-spec-foo/notes/notes.md — passes both the case arm and the ${f##*/} = ${dir##*/}.md basename check on line 122, and gets linted as if it were the spec itself. Reproduced directly (see verification): the same two lines match a synthetic 4-segment path. No spec directory in this repo has a subdirectory today, so nothing misfires yet, and this is a one-off shape (grepped the tree for */*\. patterns in .github/workflows/ and scripts/; nothing else does this). But it undercuts the precision the comment above it claims, and would silently start reporting spurious 'missing required section' findings on the first spec that grows a subdirectory alongside its own file — with no test to catch the regression, since the job is advisory and untested. A correct match needs to anchor the second * to not contain / (e.g. matching only [^/]* between the two slashes), not just check the basename against the immediate parent. Note: this file's own header (lines 1-13) declares it an installed byte-for-byte copy of gominimal/foundry:spec/deploy/spec-lint.yml, so editing it here alone would trip spec-drift.yml — the real fix has to land in foundry first and flow back through the copy mechanism this PR describes.

Reproduced directly (see verification): the same two lines match a synthetic 4-segment path. No spec directory in this repo has a subdirectory today, so nothing misfires yet, and this is a one-off shape (grepped the tree for `*/*\.` patterns in `.github/workflows/` and `scripts/`; nothing else does this). But it undercuts the precision the comment above it claims, and would silently start reporting spurious 'missing required section' findings on the first spec that grows a subdirectory alongside its own file — with no test to catch the regression, since the job is advisory and untested. A correct match needs to anchor the second `*` to not contain `/` (e.g. matching only `[^/]*` between the two slashes), not just check the basename against the immediate parent. Note: this file's own header (lines 1-13) declares it an installed byte-for-byte copy of `gominimal/foundry:spec/deploy/spec-lint.yml`, so editing it here alone would trip `spec-drift.yml` — the real fix has to land in foundry first and flow back through the copy mechanism this PR describes.

Compare
`spec/deploy/spec-lint.yml` is copied here byte for byte, so this file tracks its source and nothing else. The source changed: the comment explaining why the job lints the template when a PR touches the workflow and no spec claimed the template "is expected to come back clean". It never has since S006 and S007 landed, and it returns six findings today. A comment predicting `clean` beside a run reporting six teaches the reader that the check is noise, which is the one thing an advisory check cannot survive. The corrected text says what the run produces and names the signal. Comment only. No step, condition or permission moves. minimal-review — advisory review
Verdict COMMENT — COMMENT: policy.actions.request_changes is off; policy.actions.approve is off.
Scope: matches the stated intent — two installed copies (spec-lint.yml, TEMPLATE.md) plus the AGENTS.md pointer to them, exactly what the PR body describes. No unrelated changes.
Clobber: none. Both new files are additions; AGENTS.md only gains a bullet.
Correctness: one real bug, detailed in the finding below — the job's permissions: block never grants issues, but the only step that talks to GitHub (Post the findings) exclusively calls the Issues API (GET/PATCH/POST on .../issues/.../comments). Every call in that step will 403, silently, forever — the comment this PR's entire point is to produce will never post. continue-on-error: true on every step means this never shows as a failed check, which is exactly why it's easy to miss in review. Two other points already have open, unresolved threads on this PR (the docs/specs/*/*.md case-glob not stopping at /, and the NFR verify: placeholder not matching the T0 contract) — not re-raised here since they're already tracked.
Not checked: whether spec_lint.py itself (in gominimal/foundry, not part of this diff) produces the six findings the PR body claims when run against the shipped template — that needs a live checkout of foundry's linter, out of reach for a static review.
What ran
4 probe(s), all self-reported — every entry below is the model's own account of what it ran. None of it is host-attested, so none of it can gate a blocking verdict.
Verification log
1. Read spec-lint.yml permissions block and its two GH_TOKEN steps end to end — self-reported
permissions: only grants contents: read and pull-requests: write (lines 25-27). The 'Post the findings' step (lines 190-208) calls GET/PATCH/POST on repos/.../issues/$PR_NUMBER/comments and repos/.../issues/comments/$existing — the Issues API, not the Pull Requests API.
2. grep -rn 'issues/.*comments|issues: write' .github/workflows/*.yml — exit 0 · self-reported
nightly-tests.yml:440 and promote.yml:38 both declare issues: write and both then call the issues/.../comments endpoint (promote.yml:124). spec-lint.yml is the only workflow in the repo that calls that endpoint without declaring issues: write.
3. grep -n 'gh api|/issues/|/pulls/|/reviews' .github/workflows/minimal-review.yml — exit 0 · self-reported
minimal-review.yml carries the identical permissions block (contents: read, pull-requests: write, no issues) but never touches the issues comments API — it posts via contract.post, which submits a Pull Request Review (pulls/{n}/reviews), an operation pull-requests: write does cover. That's why the same two-line permissions block works there and doesn't here; spec-lint.yml chose the issues-comments API instead, which needs issues: write.
4. Recall GitHub's documented permissions semantics: once a permissions: key is present, every unlisted scope is set to none (not the default read-all) — self-reported
Confirmed via web search of GitHub Actions permissions docs. Since spec-lint.yml's permissions block omits issues entirely, the token gets zero issues access, not read-only — the GET call to list existing comments 403s too, not just the POST/PATCH.

This permissions block has no issues scope, so it's implicitly none (declaring permissions: at all zeroes every unlisted scope — there's no read-all fallback). But the job's only GitHub-facing step, 'Post the findings' (spec-lint.yml:193, 205, 208), talks exclusively to the Issues API: GET repos/.../issues/$PR_NUMBER/comments to find the sticky comment, then PATCH repos/.../issues/comments/$existing or POST repos/.../issues/$PR_NUMBER/comments. All three calls need issues: write (or at least read for the GET); pull-requests: write doesn't cover them. Every one will 403. Because every step in this job carries continue-on-error: true by design, the 403 never turns the check red — the job will run, look fine, and never post the advisory comment that is the entire feature this PR adds. This is isolated to this file: minimal-review.yml carries the identical two-scope permissions block but posts via the Pull Request Reviews API (pulls/{n}/reviews, covered by pull-requests: write) instead of issue comments, and both nightly-tests.yml and promote.yml declare issues: write precisely because they call this same comments endpoint.

The spec format was decided at the 2026-08-27 kickoff and written up in
How Minimal Writes Specs,
which is the source of truth. This repo holds the twelve specs it governs and
had neither the template nor anything that reads it.
Two files, both copies of
gominimal/foundry:spec/:docs/specs/TEMPLATE.mdspec/template.md, plus aSOURCEstamp.github/workflows/spec-lint.ymlspec/deploy/spec-lint.yml, byte for byteThey land together because foundry's drift check reports both, and two separate
merges would leave its nightly run red in between.
Edit either one in foundry and open a PR here; a change made only in this repo
is lost the next time the template is updated.
spec-drift.ymlfails when acopy and its source disagree.
The workflow cannot fail
The format was decided as advisory: the lint comments, the review decides.
spec_lint.pyalways returns 0, and every step in this job carriescontinue-on-error, so neither a finding nor a broken checkout can produce ared check. That is deliberately a property of the job rather than a flag on the
script — the exit code is where an advisory decision quietly becomes a gate.
Nothing here joins the five required aggregators.
What it does
On a PR touching
docs/specs/, it comments once — edited in place on each push, never a second comment — naming what it found and which linter found it.
It lints only the specs the PR touches. The twelve specs here predate the
format and are not being backfilled; a PR editing one must not be handed
findings in eleven it did not write.
Within a spec directory it lints only
<slug>/<slug>.md. Five of the twelvecarry an
architecture.mdbeside the spec, and those are supporting docume 8000 nts —linting one reports every required section as missing on a file nobody claimed
was a spec.
The checker is not copied
spec_lint.pystays in foundry. This job checks it out at run time under theApp token, exactly as
minimal-review.ymldoes, for the same two reasons: a PRhere cannot edit the linter that reads it, and the linter upgrades in one place
for every repo that installs it.
Consequences worth stating plainly:
Skipped rather than refused — an advisory comment is not worth a red X, and
the reviewer's hard refusal exists because it reaches a credentialled sandbox.
This reaches a regex.
linter that produced it.
.github/workflows/is CODEOWNER-gatedUnderstood.
AGENTS.mdsays to extend CI throughscripts/and thejustfile, and that route was considered: the linter is not a gate, so it has nothing to
contribute to
just ci, and a convention-discovered Rust test that shells outto a Python advisory linter would have to pass unconditionally to keep the
promise above — a test that cannot fail, added to a suite whose value is that
its tests can.
The workflow triggers on itself, so this PR exercises it rather than shipping a
job that has never run. With no spec changed it lints
TEMPLATE.md, whichreaches the token, the checkout and the linter.
It comes back with six findings, not clean, and that is the expected output. A
template's prompts are unfilled by definition, so
S006reports two sectionsstating nothing the template did not and
S007reports four prompts stillunanswered. The claim that it "should come back clean" was written before those
two checks existed; it is corrected at the source in
gominimal/foundry#78, which this
copy takes once it merges.
The template is refreshed
The copy first opened here was stamped

It is now taken from

T0/T1/T2/T3/noneladder withharness:forT2, the
tier: nonecase, andP012— a universal written intoproperty:iswhat T1 asks for, so a T0 carrying one is reported rather than left as a quiet
downgrade. The escalation call is made while the spec is written, not deferred
to a review, because a tier above T0 constrains code nobody has written yet.
