Description

Before: the README said nothing about the stream of activities that merged in #425–#428, and its docs index didn't link docs/automations.md.

After:

  • Automate it says what is kept today: what happens in Lens is a stream of W3C Activity Streams activities. Agents read it through the API, MCP's timeline tool and the assistant. For now it holds new assets, and automations that act on it are labelled in progress, as docs/automations.md does.
  • In progress adds the open Settings section for the stream (feat(settings): an Automations section for the stream of activities #429), and says that storing and running automations, and the studio, are planned.
  • The docs index links Automations under Use.

Motivation and Context

Keeps the README claiming exactly what is merged (AGENTS.md, Honest).

Types of changes

  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change; ! in the title)

Docs only.

… in progress

The stream of activities (#425 to #428) merged: agents read it through
the API, MCP's timeline tool and the assistant. Say so under Automate it,
with automations that act on it labelled in progress, add the open
Settings section (#429) to In progress, and link the automations page
from the docs index.
