Marathon Group Avis 

Coming from outside Ireland (Australia and Canada!), this was the best concert experience I've ever had!
I was nervous about having to get a coach to go to a concert but everything went so smoothly! I thought for sure we would be waiting for hours after the concert ended to get back to the hotel but we were expertly funneled into the correct coaches and were back within an hour.
The only thing I wish I knew a bit better was when things were actually starting (the concert started 4 hrs after we arrived lol) but I don't think that's something Marathon can control. The time estimates for getting the bus had disclaimers that due to traffic it could take over an hour additional to the original estimate time to get to Marlay Park. I didn't really understand what that meant but I think that was the primary reason for my worry. This might be an issue for the later buses but if you wanted to arrive 4hrs beforehand you'll be fine lmao.
Also, the buses do not have air conditioning (at least the one we got), so during a heat wave it was a bit rough- but I think heatwaves in Dublin are a bit of an anomaly haha.
The roads around Marlay Park are closed except for local and concert traffic which makes a huge difference- They really sorted this concert crowds stuff out!
While they are pricey I would definitely use them again for a concert! It beats having to negotiate a cab or familiarise yourself with local transit. The only thing better would be to stay walking distance from the venue.

I've used the Marathon Group buses to get from Leixlip to concerts at St Anne's Park and Malahide Castle, and it's the only way to travel to these concerts. To have direct travel options to these venues is brilliant and not having to deal with trying to hop on a multiple modes of transport to get home after a gig is so handy. Highly recommend.

Booked Marathon Coaches get to Malhide Castle & Marley Park. Teddy swims, Lewis capaldi, Michael Buble, pit Bull & Maroon 5, For price and comfort of having reliable transport, purchasing tickets online was easy and just save to Google wallet. Even pick ups at comms street and Earlsfort Terrace, clearly mark so you know were find them. Dropped back at pick up point, Want to say massive thank you to all staff and drivers, for getting myself and family members there safely and home, See same staff from previous concerts pick ups. You have laugh & joke with them, while they still keep it professional appearance represent Marathon Coaches. I would highly recommend Marathon Coaches, won't hesitate to book them again for any more Concerts

Used this service twice over the space of a week getting to Marley Park. Huge thank you for getting me there safely and in a timely manner. Everyone was so friendly and couldn't recommend highly enough. For the price and comfort of having reliable transport, it's a winner hands down. Do not hesitate to book them!

Used Marathon for Marlay Park, the Florence and the Machine gig June 2026. Outstanding service. Easy to reach bus stops tons of buses leaving, and getting out of the gig back on to the bus was a breeze. Well worth the price for the piece of mind. Wouldn't go past them.

went to marlay park for the cure, it was efficient, on time and with clear instructions and friendly staff. i was very pleased with it and would definitely book again!

I went to lewis Capaldi in Marley Park and was absolutely delighted with the service from Naas. Tickets checked and return ticket given out before the bus had arrived, on return journey plenty of people around to direct to the corrrect bus and aircon was blasting which everyone really appreciated after a very hot day in Marley. Highly reccommend this bus service well done to all.

Traveled with Marathon groups from Maynooth to Teddy Swims concert in Malahide Castle.Everything on time and staff very helpful and courteous. Will definitely use again.

It's a warm day and the bus is absolutely sweltering. It's beyond uncomfortable, I feel unwell. My advice: if you're going to a summer concert on a warm day? Try a different mode of transport!

Blue route Blessington to Aviva for Metallica, only way to travel. There was a lovely girl in Blessington doing the tickets and she was there to travel back with us afterwards. Think her name was Caoimhe. We travelled in a nice Leinster Coaches bus, very comfortable and the driver was a nice man, didn't get his name, sorry driver.

We missed our bus to the event - our own fault - so got the Dart. But when we left the gig we weren't sure where the pick up was but we met a lovely, helpful guy called Omar who made sure we got on the right bus and we were warm and comfortable. He was so helpful, friendly and professional - an absolute star!

Omar helped us out. Easy trip to the gig thank you.
