Frustrerende ervaring door gebrek aan voorraad en onvervulde beloftes bij Vanden Borre

Mijn bezoek aan deze winkel op vrijdag was een aaneenschakeling van teleurstellingen. Mijn intentie was simpel: een magnetron kopen en meenemen. Helaas bleken de eerste drie modellen die ik uitkoos, ondanks dat ze in de toonzaal stonden, niet op voorraad te zijn.

De verkoopster raadde me vervolgens aan om het gewenste model in de winkel te bestellen, met de belofte dat ik deze "zeker maandag" zou kunnen ophalen. Ze ontraadde me zelfs om online te bestellen voor een snellere thuislevering, met de waarschuwing dat externe vervoersbedrijven "niet voorzichtig genoeg" zouden zijn. Ik vertrouwde op dit advies en plaatste de bestelling in de winkel.

Vandaag, maandag, bleef de beloofde melding uit. Rond 14:00 uur besloot ik zelf contact op te nemen met het hoofdkantoor. Daar werd mij verzekerd dat de vrachtwagen binnen een half uur bij de winkel zou arriveren. Op basis van deze informatie ben ik naar de winkel gereden.

Bij aankomst kreeg ik de bevestiging dat de magnetron inderdaad was geleverd. Tot mijn grote frustratie stond deze echter nog op een pallet in het magazijn en weigerde de winkelbediende de magnetron aan mij mee te geven. Ik moest wachten op een sms-bericht, zonder enige indicatie van wanneer ik dat zou ontvangen.

Deze ervaring is ronduit slecht. Van het gebrek aan voorraad en de misleidende verkooppraatjes tot de onjuiste informatie van de klantenservice en de uiteindelijke weigering om mijn betaalde product mee te geven. Dit getuigt van een zeer slechte service en een gebrek aan respect voor de klant.

I believe I was scammed by this company. When I worked for a roofing company a few years back, I received an email from etrust about signing up for their 401K services. Since it sounded like the company I worked for was part of the plan I decided to try it. Unfortunately I found out that was not the case. When I tried to get my money back, all $138.00 of it, or whatever it was at the time, I was told there were fees, etc and it basically was leaving me with a very little amount. I wish I had kept better track at the time. I recently got my new statement which stated I could receive $1.11 per month since I was 73 years old as on 3/31/25. This statement had no account number on it, or at least not one that said it was an account number. Nothing was mentioned about how to get in touch with the company. I had to google it. I found it, emailed them and asked for the $1.11 monthly distribution. They responded that they don't do that but I could take a distribution less a $75.00 fee. Since this was sketchy from the beginning, I don't think I should be penalized a penny.
I just read the 5 star reviews. All were written on Nov.15 &16 of 2021. Nothing positive since then.
