Sent us dead parts on arrival.

When we tried to initiate a return and refund they would purposely respond slowly to stall the 30 days return windows.

Would instruct us to do all sorts of unnecessary tests to prove to them the product wasn’t dead.

I purchased this part from Mad Hornets based on the information provided on their website. The part I received was not the correct version for my application.

When I contacted them about the issue, their initial offer was only a 10% partial refund if I agreed to keep the part. I was later offered 20% if I kept it.

I was honestly unaware that returning an incorrect or unsuitable part was something that could be treated as a negotiation. I expected to be able to return the item according to the company's stated return policy and receive the appropriate refund.

Instead, I was told that I would have to pay the return shipping costs AND a 30% restocking fee if I returned it.

What is particularly frustrating is that I did not see the 30% restocking fee clearly disclosed when I placed my order. Had I known beforehand that returning the part would mean paying the return shipping plus losing 30% of the purchase price to a restocking fee, I would not have purchased from Mad Hornets in the first place.

I ultimately accepted their 20% partial refund simply to avoid losing even more money returning an item I cannot use. I am accepting it, but I am very unhappy with the resolution.

My recommendation to other buyers: read the return policy extremely carefully before ordering, and don't assume that returning an item will be straightforward. In my experience, the refund became a negotiation, with the initial offer being only 10% to keep an unusable part.

Very disappointing experience.

The company is horrible friend ordered a cv tech clutch put it on his machine got maybe 2 hours on it. The clutch was not put together right it broke on the back side where the weight goes. Contacted company they wont answer tried to send out bolts that wont work be because the clutch broke. They dont answer the phone. Worst customer service and company ever to deal with. Been goin on 2 weeks without a resolution to the issue..

This site is a scam. They post fake reviews and send secondary market products. Then they try to force you to pay a 30% restocking fee and return shipping. I posted the parts to a site and had the original owner of the photos contact me to tell me that they used his photos and OEM product to promote their second hand merchandise. They claim they are US based and post a contact phone number, but they don't answer it and then send emails claiming they are only available by email. They take 1-3 days to reply to messages. STAY AWAY

Ordered and installed a 4.9 star rated cam kit. Ran great for about 10 minutes then all 12 rockers failed one shortly after the other. DO NOT BUY, DO NOT USE, JUST DO NOT.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. They have incorrect fitment charts, misleading product descriptions, and awful customer service. I purchased an item GUARANTEED to fit my year, make, and model, yet received nothing even close. When I reached out to return the part they had offered a 15% refund in order for me to just keep it. Even suggested I sell it locally. After their multiple attempts to make me keep it, while offering up to a 30% refund in 5% increments, they finally gave me the shipping info. I was able to walk away with a “refund” of 70% excluding shipping costs. Total waste of money. Do NOT trust a word on their website, and do not give them a dime of your money.

These people sale junk and are total scamers and they know it. Will not call or email you. DO NOT USE...

They sent me a faulty part. I wanted to exchange but they're unresponsive after 12 tries. I would have been happy with manufacturer contact info but nothing. Avoid at all costs!

Scam company that seems legit.

Placed international order online for delivery to my hotel near their HQ in Chino CA. Money left my account but goods not dispatched.

Then emailed by service at madhornets dot com asking for a photograph of physical payment card showing last 4 digits, expiry date and name on card ‘because transaction was a large purchase’ (US$150) and further details required before goods could be shipped 20 miles to my hotel.

Sounded suspicious but after cautiously complying was then asked by second email for a photograph of US ID, international passport or other official ID.

I sussed it as a scam, contacted my bank who immediately stopped card and have supplied screenshots of Mad Hornet email requests to them for their fraud team to investigate.

I cancelled order and demanded a refund. That was promised by mad hornets who accepted the cancelled order.

Bank has provisionally refunded me but unsurprisingly Mad Hornets haven’t.

DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS BOGUS COMPANY!

Bought from madhornets.com the Camshafts Rockers Lifters Assembly for a 2017 Ram ProMaster a couple months back. My mechanic found that the parts were faulty. We contacted them asking them to replace these as they have a "1 Year" warranty.
Their one and only reply was a lame offer of a small percentage off...That is Unacceptable!
They have not honored their warranty on these parts. They have not bothered to reply to any of my other messages to them. I will be contacting the BBB and the California Attorney General's office for consumer fraud.
It's Interesting to note that some recent 5-star reviews given from 4 different people - Is how each one of them made 2 reviews, each review was made on the same day – one review for clothing and the other review for madhornets.com.
Each one gives a different clothing website and each website they give a 5-star review is for a sketchy company with a low trust score.

Got a part with a 1 year guarantee. 8 months later, the part needs replacing again and they are actively ignoring me. Seems like they're trying to wait to answer me until the one year guarantee is up.

Ordered a pool pump and it arrived early

I ordered a part for my washing machine on May 5th , it shipped on May 7th, it was scanned in Melrose park Illinois on May 8th it has been sitting in Melrose park Illinois for 4 days with no scans & it has said on tracking expected delivery today for 3 days with No other scans, I emailed this company twice to see if they could help me with my package with no response! I will never order from them again and I wish I would of read the reviews before I ordered this part!

The company advertised an arbor nut for a Delta saw with a precise part number, which perfectly matches my Delta saw. However, the part doesn't fit -- the nut has the wrong thread. When I informed MadHornets of this, I expected a full refund because the part was clearly labeled wrong. But no - first they required me to send a video of the part's installation (it's a nut, for heaven's sake), which I did after some effort. After proving the part would not fit, their offer was a 10% discount and told me to resell the part. That's ridiculous - I don't need $1.78 back and then wrongly sell a $17.89 nut that doesn't match its OEM number.

Advertising parts that you do not have in stock. Put me back three days behind schedule.

What a terrible company!! They won't even honor their own return policy!!!! To return an item you have to request a return order. When you request a return they just offer 1 ridiculous solution after the next to try and fix something that's not fixable instead of offering a return like their policy states they will. I paid 150 dollars for a shifter that doesn't work. To me thats theft if your not going make it right. I will be leaving a bad review every single day for the rest of my life until this is resolved.
