I have brought a few items from redwood the post could of years I am so impressed with the quality and service. Genuinely great pieces of work that are something to be admired if you get a bargain even better, but even at full price you're getting a good deal

I purchased the last two pieces I needed from the Darwin collection Chile and Patagonia when I open the package chili was fine Patagonia was broken I reached out via email since there is no one 800 number that you can call this has been going on since 16 July emails going back-and-forth waiting 3 to 5 days for them to respond they did send me a replacement however they sent Chile not Patagonia even though I sent a picture and stayed which one was broken. so here we go again I had to send another email. I just received an answer stating that my order was fulfilled but as far as I’m concerned, it wasn’t you sent the wrong product now you want me to turn around and spend another hundred and some more dollars to get the correct product when you sent me the wrong one I am so disappointed with this customer service so I replied to the latest email stating that no, it’s not you sent the wrong item as far as I’m concerned I will no longer purchase any of your products due to that horrible customer service that I have been receiving

This company sure went downhill. There was a time that women were proud to own something from Wedgewood. "That's Wedgewood" They would say as somebody looked at their blue and white vase on the shelf.

I too had a Wedgewood set I adored. Piece by piece though, the set broke until I was left with one sad chipped mug.

After spending years trying to find replacements, I finally wrote the company. The submission stated it would be weeks and weeks til my email was replied to due to how busy they were. So I made sure to be very thorough. I gave the exact dimensions of the mugs I sought and asked them what was the most similar in their current stock. I asked them lot's of questions.

It was like nobody bothered to read anything I wrote. I received a short, cut and paste that didn't address any of my questions at all. It addressed questions I did not ask or already knew. All it said was my cup was discontinued. "Duh". Their reponse was downright rude and insulting.

Wedgewood no longer cares about quality or customers. Most all of their pieces now are cookie cutter desgns with a few exceptions.

Awful - been trying to contact customer service for over 10 days via both email and contact form on website. Received a confirmation email each time and an expected follow up in 48-72 business hours, however this didn't happen and despite follow ups, still have not heard anything.

Swift delivery. Fantastic quality. Gifted ourselves the little loveheart flasks, luxuriously wrapped. Gorgeous design. It is obvious that they wont leak,tried and tested by us and they are built to last and will fit into the cars cupholders. I look forward to saving up and buying our next occasion treats from you. Thank you 😃

Placed an order on the 15th of December (hoping to arrive by Christmas). Received dispatch email from Wedgwood same day. DPD site still says (29th Dec) they know of the order but have not received the package. I have attempted calling customer service a few times. Phone is automated answered asks to hold, then goes silent and never reaches an advisor. Have also attempted reaching the customer service on the website. When I press submit on the contact us form, I get a pop up which says 'We are sorry!
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties adding this item to your cart. Please try again later.' So not able to reach customer services at all. This is shoddy for a company selling such expensive items.

7th January 26 I managed to reach customer services on the phone. They were extremely apologetic, and have resolved the issue.

You pay thousands for a crockery and get nothing in return. I can’t say a terrible service because they don’t actually provide a service! I wish I could read the reviews before I purchased . Nothing is absolutely special with their products!! Go on gumtree there is a lot of them cheap price. Absolutely disappointing. No product dimensions properly, pics never matches with the item! You have to pay hundreds for returning an item!

I have recently purchased 20 piece set of Old Country Roses due to Wedgwood Name from Canada Link however I received the shipment from US - damaged and smelly packaging and not in original clear wraps.
2 dinner plate had black smudges on them, 1 cup broken, butter plates have marking visible on the back like 025, 019, 02 not sure why this is visible through glaze and most of all - did not come in individually wrapped clear bags as I have purchased another set.
Customer Service is having Technical Difficulties.
Awaiting for a response from them....after multiple attempts through their website.
They now have responded they will review my case 48-72 hours. Very disappointed with the purchase which was a lot for the 20pcs set.

Looks to me they shipped defective loose products.

Awful website - contact form doesn’t work when trying to complain. Most items have no measurements on in the product specification so you have no idea the size of anything. Those that do only have one measurement, so you have to guess the rest based on assumed proportions. Ridiculous and very disappointing considering the supposed quality.

Listened to the ceo (or someone) on radio 4 saying that we don't want to buy... well had a look; the worst website ever. In my head it's impossible to find anything & have the spec providing enough.
Love decent china especially a good breakfast cup & saucer... don't bother here. Can't find anything but will try hard as it's the sale. I buy from a french brand 4 letters beginning with G.

We received thousands of pounds worth of crockery for our wedding and I was extremely disappointed that despite the plate saying England on the back, there is a sticker saying they were in fact made in Indonesia. We only selected Wedgwood because it’s supposed to be a heritage English brand.

Absolutely love my new Wedgwood Gio Platinum set! The purchasing experience was smooth, delivery was fast, and the product quality is beautiful!

Having acquired some Wedgwood and Royal Doulton pieces in my childhood, I always held the two names in high regard.

That was until now I've purchased from them myself. From the flimsy, damaged "presentation boxes" to the customer service and website management.

I purchased the 100 years of Golden Roses Royal Albert 3 piece set, advertised in a high quality presentation hat box. I recieved the tea set in a poor quality, fold up style square box with an ill fitting lid.

I complained and was advised there must be a mistake on the website. A courier was arranged to collect and replace my package, only for this to be exactly the same unacceptable quality. I raised my complaint again and have now been informed the hat box style was replaced with the square style due to making more environmentally friendly, stackable packaging despite what it says on the website.

While I agree with the brand's sustainability claim, I dispute Wedgwood's claim that these new boxes are "more stackable" as I've seen 2 examples of ill fitting, damaged lids atop of flimsy fold up boxes.

Wedgwood have since updated their website by removing any pictures of display boxes, however the feature list still describe them as "Lovingly packaged in a beautiful presentation box" when in reality the set is packaged in a flat pack, recyclable box.

Excellent products, and a useful guarantee on breakages (no matter what the cause) which was respected without quibble. Would be nicer if all product was made in England, but it’s great quality, nicely packaged and arrives quickly

Have previously ordered without issue, however, on this occasion, it arrived damaged. I ordered a 3 piece Teapot, sugar bowl & milk jug set. only the sugar bowl was damaged, but was told I'd have to return the whole set. It took over 2 weeks of me chasing DAILY to get a phone call from someone. They were very helpful, and the goods have been replaced, however, she said that they were extremely under-staffed and could not handle the sheer amount of damages they were currently dealing with. IMO they need to take far more care when packaging their goods, considering the nature of the product, and the price they are charging! If anyone else is having the same issue, I would just advise that you chase daily and be that pain they just want to get rid of. Unless you make a lot of noise, you're not going to get anywhere. Oh, and they forgot to block their outgoing telephone number when they did call me, so here it is for anyone else to use.... 01782 204141

I would strongly recommend that you buy anything BUT Wedgwood. $1600 worth of bone china was shipped in un-padded cardboard cartons, and we were told to get replacements for all of the broken items from replacements.com, as Wedgwood had just discontinued that pattern. Lately, the dinner plates have started randomly cracking, apparently from internal stresses during manufacture. In short, pure crap, badly shipped, with no customer support.

I wish I had read all the previous reviews on this site before I ordered £50 worth of Mugs, because I’m feeling like one now! Ordered on 31st December and received an email on 3/1/25 to say there had been a temporary delay to their despatching process but I have heard nothing further from them and they have not responded to my email via their Contact Us page either.
Update: I have now heard back from Customer Services - they cancelled my order as they could not fulfil it. Why have a Sale and accept orders, only to cancel them weeks later?

dreadful customer service. they don't reply to emails for weeks. Still waiting for a £3.95 refund as I had to order one dinner plate separate due to their computer problem. the refund never came, waiting since early december. DO NOT BUY! plates made in China!!! there is nothing left British about this company. Awful! this company deserves to go bankrupt! they should all be sacked. I am informing people eveywhere to avoid them!

I wish I had read these reviews before I had bought anything from. Wedgewood. The packaging was so shocking and returning this was really difficult to do. For a brand that is dated anyway ( a present for my 77 year old mother in law)
perhaps needs to bring its website and gift packages into 2025 V disappointing
