Waitrose Arvostelua 

We today visited the Preston retail park Waitrose . Upon getting to the check outs the true quality of why we chose waitress again became apparent , the lovely lady who served us interacted , laughed and joked with us making the whole experience amazing . Any extra we may have spent over and above other stores was money well spent as her lovely and I hasten to add professional attitude made it an absolute joy. Preston is around 20 miles away from us but will be returning entirely due to her lovely attitude xx til reference 721 023 1016 70687

What is wrong with Waitrose’s fruit its hard isn’t ripe, does not ripen over time but goes mouldy while it is still hard. It’s either being picked too soon or stored incorrectly. This is an ongoing problem I will no longer be buying from this company

Bought a £15 meal deal on 22/8/26. Grabbed a box of Moules as a starter, it was the last one on the shelf. When I got home I saw that the use by date was 13/8/26. 9 days out of date! I emailed a complaint, sending a photo of the receipt & the box. I got a response a few days later saying they couldn’t see the receipt clearly enough and the only way to get a refund was to return the goods to store! I had long since binned them! I sent a few more emails & today finally got a response offering me a £6 evoucher. The price of the Moules was £6.95. Well done Waitrose, yet another (un) satisfied customer

A big thank you to the very kind member of staff who delivered my shopping in her car this morning, as the delivery driver booked to deliver my shopping was not available. It was especially thoughtful of her as today's order wasn't a small top up shop, but a huge restock of my kitchen.

Waitrose you are very fortunate to have such wonderful member of staff, who volunteered to do the Bridport deliveries this morning, so that none of us had to do without our orders. I hope you really value her and I think she deserves a reward.

Sent two emails to Waitrose complaints department concerning bad driving of one of their delivery vans in my small village , had no reply at all , if they can’t be bothered to to reply why have a complaints department at all ?

I would like someone to assist urgently as I am still awaiting delivery of a case of wine (a gift to friends) that should have been delivered on 12th August and was ordered on 27th July. The first case was never delivered. Two replacement cases have since been ordered and neither of these have arrived (despite me being assured that this would be “handled with the highest priority”).

My latest email (1st September) to the Waitrose Customer Care team to advise them of the latest failed delivery has still not been responded to. I am at my wit’s end and have been left with no option but to contact Waitrose via their online platforms to see if this issue can be resolved.

This has already taken up a significant amount of my time and the level of service has fallen way below the standards expected of a company with the reputation of Waitrose/John Lewis.

The company has opted to use DHL for delivery of their wine, so it is the responsibility of Waitrose to identify where the three cases of wine have gone. Surely this cannot be that difficult to resolve! I look forward to hearing from someone with regards to a satisfactory resolution.

I have shopped in Waitrose Bath for 20+ years. Never again. There is one member of staff who is hell bent on making the lives of customers a misery. Twice now she has started on me when I have been trying to shop with my children. On the first occasion she accused me of stealing a shortbread biscuit that my toddler was eating. I was paying for my shopping at the time and I pointed out to her that the biscuit was not one of their designs but one from Morrisons. The second occasion she dressed me down firmly In front of my children and other customers. Firstly she told me I was not to have a coffee with me at the self service check outs . I apologised and told her I was not aware of this rule and she snapped back at me that there were signs everywhere. Well I checked and there were not. She then started verbally dressing me down telling me I needed a lid on my coffee. Again I politely apologised and told her had I been aware I wouldn’t have done that and she snapped at me that it had been that way for 10 years. I am appalled that Waitrose have such rude staff- a company that once prided themselves on customer service. Shame on you Waitrose

As a supplier of vehicle repairs to Waitrose, I have recently had a trip to Greenford and we were taken round on a tour, which was a great experience. It made me want to test the Home Delivery from Waitrose so that is exactly what I did!

Well, what can I say other than……..WOW!

From the first step of setting up online, to ordering and having the goods delivered and experiencing the incredible professionalism of the gentleman delivering was something different to my other experiences from other supermarkets.

1. Setting up online was super easy and user friendly
2. The van looked neat and tidy and clean
3. The delivery was on time
4. The parking of the vehicle was thoughtful in case neighbours needed access to their homes or get out
5. The gentleman rings doorbell and steps a few paces back
6. Greets me with “I see it is your first time ordering online, welcome to Waitrose Home delivery” which was absolutely superb
7. He asked if I would like it brough in, to which I said yes
8. He took his shoes off and came though to our kitchen, checked the order and asked if I was happy
9. He wished me a pleasant evening and took off

The chap was immaculately looking in his uniform and professional and a true ambassador, the sort you just want and need in your team if you ask me.

If there ever was a time to recommend something, this is where I would happily do that 😉

Well done Waitrose and well done to your Delivery Partner (not sure what he is called).

We’ve shipped with Waitrose online for years, but today is the last time. They have become completely unreliable with unavailable items and substitutions. Shopping with them is a waste of time. And if something goes wrong with the delivery, it’s near impossible to obtain refunds through customer service.

Purchased various shopping items inc new potatoes on 29th sept at Waitrose Colchester , ready for family meal the same evening , upon opening the potato bag it stunk of mouse / rats urine ! So we covered and resealed the bag and promptly took them back bank Holiday Monday, the customer service woman who had a face like a slapped arse made zero comment only to offer a refund ?, these potatoes I just know were a health hazard and could easily have caused serious illness to whoever ate them! A so called manager ? turned up and sane zero comment about the item , all I can say is seriously don’t !! Shop there we won’t ever again ! You just never know where their products are being sourced from. Thanks Waitrose for spoiling a family meal. Never again !!!!

Have since moved from Sainsbury’s to Waitrose due to a number of issues that do not sit well with me. We are generally happy with the produce and service, however… today, we popped in to buy some things for a roast dinner, it being the bank holiday. While selecting the vegetables, a member of staff who was clearly agitated (slamming her baskets together) came and stood directly in front of me as I was about to select a product.
A bit irritated, I said “Oh sorry, am I in your way?”, to which she replied “that’s ok”.
We decided to leave her to it and return when she had gone.

The one thing we noted about Waitrose when we first began shopping here, was the good manners and general helpfulness of the staff… as with all things, it seems as if this may be on the decline.

We will still shop here but consider a home delivery if the staff continue to be rude, or maybe try somewhere else.

Waitrose has the worst fruit of any of the supermarkets . I just bought two packs of peaches , tried one and they went straight into the bin , they were hard and tasteless . If I lived closer to the store I would have taken them back , they were disgusting rubbish !

There are certain items which I rely on from Waitrose which are a better quality than others'. (But definitely not the biscuits). What however is so upsetting is their cessation of brilliant Own brand products. One is the Aubergine Pickle, Indian section, and now today the disappearance of "Peppermint Nettle Gingko Echinacea" herbal tea. And since then a search on their website which has an undecipherable set up for access to products proved so useless it moved me to write this comment.

Uncovered bakery products open to health and safety issues at Worcester. I witnessed a customer who touched the uncovered rolls in the uncovered bakery section but didn’t buy. When I reported to Waitrose they could care less because of course covering them up costs money they don’t want to spend!. Please bare this in mind before buying especially in hot weather when flies are around ! Yuk!

I went for a browse in John Lewis - Oxford Street and then had a bite to eat at Jamie's Cafe - which was quite nice - if a bit expensive.
I then went downstairs to the Waitrose and bought a few things. Included was a bottle of Waitrose own washing up liquid. I had a large rafia basket with me - in which I put my purchases.
Imagine my horror on arriving home to discover that the cap of the washing up liquid hadn't been screwed on properly - and my bad was covered in gloopy washing up liquid - what a mess!

Flies all over the fresh pastries, disgusting and a health hazard. Reported this to management 3 weeks ago, absolutely nothing done. This display cabinet always had glass doors, however Waitrose removed them last year, what a ridiculous decision. My advice unless you want to eat fly vomit is 'avoid'!

Had waited long and finally about to have the taste of the little treat Waitrose offers. ,may purchase reached 50 then 100 plus on Sunday 23 August and get 2 little treat but sadly all Waitrose were close and my flight is 8 am on Monday morning 24 August , sent an email to customer service twice replying and getting the same Automated reply with no consideration and you can feel the non sense factor in their reply and excuses nor the willingness to offer anything at all. instead they ask you to try again and spend more money to get the little treat. what a waste of money and time buying from trhem.

Ordered through their entertainment service, which requires eight days notice. My order was submitted 15 days prior to the delivery date, so within the time, to discover on the day that one of the items was not available, no substitution and no resolution after complaining this morning. Absolutely disappointed with the from what I considered to be a premium brand. I’m now put in the position of having to go and search out an alternative myself on the day of the party.
