First time using MoneyGram, and it was easy. The only downside is when you are asked each time you log in, 'what is the reason for the transfer' and questions regarding verification.

Once you pass all security questions…

Once you pass all security questions setting up an account, then go online even without the app and it was easy sending and my receiver was able to pick it up on time without problems. The transfer fee was reasonable.

Too Many Technical Problems

Very disappointing experience with MoneyGram. It almost never works on the first attempt. There are constantly bugs and technical issues, and I have to try several times before I can complete a transaction. Their IT system is unreliable and clearly needs major improvement. This is extremely frustrating, especially when you just want to send money quickly and without hassle.

CANCELLED PAYMENT. I cancelled a payment on the 3rd of…

I cancelled a payment on the 3rd of August 2026 for £52.49 and I am still waiting for it to be returned back into my bank account why??????. I have contacted customer service multiple times and I have been given the runaround each time. Your policy states refunds can take up to 10 working days - this is now a month!!! - needless to say I am very annoyed.

Is totally horrible

Is totally horrible, the custormer service agent, seems not to understand questions or requests... they provide wrong information the last 3 transactions has been a complete caos. I tried to give a chance but no way. I will rathrr use western,ria or remitly. But never waist time and money with moneygram again.

I have never used MoneyGram to send…

I have never used MoneyGram to send money out of the USA before. Today, I tried to use their service, but unfortunately, after opening an account and providing all the required documents, my money transfer was declined without any reason.

I spoke with an agent who fixed the error, but the transfer was still unsuccessful later. It was a waste of time, so I decided to use Remitly instead.
