They charged me for contacts that they never shipped because they had a problem with my prescription. It went through my bank. When I contacted them they only refunded a portion of what I paid. Stay away from this company. They totally ripped us off

Great customer service! Somehow, I received the wrong contact prescription, but they immediately sent a replacement box and sent a paid return label to me. I will definitely use them again.

I recently had an interaction with your customer service representative, Nicole, over the phone. The reason for my call was to inquire about the price of the contact lens I was looking to by on your website. When I gave Nicole my prescription information, she was able to offer me a better price than I found on your website and significantly lower than your competitors. I liked the free torn lens replacement and exchange programs if my prescription changes. I was blown away by Nicole's customer service, attentiveness to my needs, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond. I would highly recommend anyone to do business with OptiContacts. I will definitely call your company first the next time I'm in need of contacts in the future!

Just ordered my first contacts from OptiContacts. I got customer service to help and it was so easy. Looking forward to continuing with this company based on the excellent customer service. 35613592

This company uses bait and switch tactics to fool you into thinking you're paying less. They advertised contacts for $32.95 per box but then tacked a handling fee that was greater than the total order ($131.80 subtotal for 4 boxes, $152.23 handling fee), more than doubling the price at checkout. Their excuse that other companies do this, so they have to, too is a weird way to admit illegal advertising practices. I'll go with more straightforward providers in future.

The ordering, shipping and pricing are incredible. Don't go anywhere else. This is your least expensive and I searched.

Even though they have hidden fees, they still have unbeatable prices. They were even cheaper than 1-800 contacts and EZcontacts which are my usual go-tos.

One of the worst companies out there. I believe all these contacts companies are scams, but Opticontacts.com takes the cake this time. After advertising a certain price on their website, I tried and failed, what must have been at least 10 times to put an order through! Everytime after inputting my credit card and shipping information I was met with a(n) error message: "Sorry, something went wrong."
Eventually understanding that this was not a price or sale they were willing to honor, I decided I would buy the smaller option. (Three 1 month supply of contacts, instead of a singular 3 months supply). This 1 month supply came at a premium of almost double the advertised price for 3 months supply, but clearly they would not allow me to purchase the 3 month supply.
So I placed an order for three, 1 month supply contacts at $15.96 per month, and somehow my credit card charge was $84.72!!!! Now they had charged me for shipping, which is ridiculous in and of itself in 2026, but that was $12.96, so how did we get to $84.72?
They went ahead and charged an additional $23.92 for handling!!!! Mind you, they shipped with USPS, and I did not select any premium shipping or protection. I mean genuinely what the actual f***? $23.96 for f***ing handling??? Handling of what??
Here's the real cherry on top though:
I received no email confirmation on my order.
No confirmation of shipping.
Nothing.
But they DID charge my card right away.
AND for how absurd the shipping and handling costs were, they waited exactly 8 days after charging my card to even ship it out.
So all-in-all, my order was placed on the 11th of August and I have received it today on the 24th.
This is after paying close to $40 in mandatory shipping fees btw.
Worst company. Disgustingly disrespectful.

AI slop. Do not value human customer service. Charged me without having the order i needed. claimed they would coordinate with my eye dr. and didn't. needed to request they cancel the order repeatedly.

Edited: A human eventually contacted me and offered a discount, then asked me to send them my prescription, which they already had. I declined

So far my experience has been great and the price is wonderful! I can update when we receive the shipment, but so far, I’m impressed!

Excellent place to order lenses due to ease of reordering, quick delivery and discounted price. Have been using them for several years. Highly recommend!

The upload feature wouldn’t allow me to upload my prescription so I had to email. Hopefully that doesn’t slow down my process and shipping. First time ordering though and it was very simple.

OptiContacts is sketchy in how they conduct business. They will tell you that you have a special 70% off discount, then completely delete the discount with a $300 processing fee. Then, when you press "pay," they will secretly add another $100 processing fee on top of that to get you to the normal price. They also run permanent sales (illegal under the FTC).

Rating them 2 stars instead of 1 because this sort of conduct is somewhat common among e-commerce stores. Just be incredibly careful when you shop from them. They also claim certain codes give discounts but even when you remove the codes, that discount still exists.

If you press the ? next to "processing fees," they say they do it to rank first in Google Shopping search results. I believe that but it doesn't make it ethical. It also doesn't explain why they add another processing fee after the first processing fee right as you press checkout (it only shows when you click pay so I only noticed it personally because my Apple Pay said I was charged $650 instead of the promised $570)
