My mock interview with Mike Tam was extremely helpful. He did a great job at complimenting my performance while also giving me constructive criticism to elevate my answers even more. Amazing session.

This editor should be fired or undergo extensive remediation training, followed by close observation of their edits. In my first of four essays, I found that many, if not all, of the comments on this essay were stock responses that were cut and pasted. They often did not apply to the sentence they were attached to. I had very few comments specific to my essay and made changes despite them, not because of them. These edits asked for information not required by the prompt and were overall unhelpful. Statements like “condense repeated statements about wanting to learn and use the space for an outcome, decision, or responsibility” on conclusion sentences and “add one clinical moment when responsibility for an animal clarified why you wanted the veterinarian role rather than another animal-care career” on sentences describing progression are useless and not worth the money I have spent on this program.
In my second and third essay, the edits were not paired with the correct sentences, even though they said, “In the sentence beginning “…””. The beginning matched the sentence, but the edit applied to a sentence later in the essay. In addition to the edits being on the wrong sentences, there was not one original comment. There were a few comments that applied to my essay, and the same comments were copied and pasted verbatim throughout the essay. This made editing my essay actively more difficult while working against my editor.
Of my four essays, there was only one truly helpful edit I implemented, and it was in the last essay. I don’t know what happened with this editor while editing my essays, but these edits were atrocious and were absolutely not up to the standards I was promised and paid for when I signed up for this program. I am very disappointed in the quality of these edits.

Kethyl Africa was an amazing interviewer. She was encouraging and had a lot of good changes for me to implement with the structures. She helped me a lot with the brainstorming for "why dentistry" question and pushed me in the right direction

I very much enjoyed my first session getting to work with an outstanding individual, Liz. While I came in with little knowledge on what the Med school application entails, she walked me through each step while also making sure I fully understood the topic before moving on. She also provided me with resources that will further aid me in my journey. 10/10 experience!

All my questions were answered throughly. The only thing I would change is to have a common place where my situation can be explained so that all of the advisors can know how to best help me without the need for me to explain my unconventional circumstances over and over again. But all in all, a great session where I was given real effective tips to maximize my studying.

Mike Tam was fantastic. His advice was very straightforward and no-nonsense, he didn't dance around any important information and he was very honest.
