I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of obtaining the GLP-1 medication. The assessment and questions were easy to answer, the website and tools were very user friendly, and I liked having the ability to be assessed by a medical professional to ensure I qualified for the medication, as well as learning about which medication might work best for me. Easy system to get healthy

The experience with Ro was quick and easy. Their insurance concierge was able to get a successful prior authorization where I had struggled with previous care teams on my own. I also have at my finger tips a wealth of education about my medication and nutrition and other health information. Payment options for membership were reasonable and easy to navigate. Going with Ro was a great decision.

I tried to get a GLP-1 through Kaiser (worthless insurance that never approves anything!). I am pre-diabetic and the closest I can get to having diabetes (I can’t remember my exact number). This was my #1 reason for wanting a prescription. GLP-1s were first developed for diabetes. Secondly, I’m 4 pounds away from being considered obese and I am overweight. My Ro provider understood my need, was quick to respond, and my prescription was delivered quickly. I highly recommend Ro.

I signed up for a promotional offer for $39 for the first month and then it was 149 every month after, but as soon as I signed up, I immediately canceled within minutes as I decided to go another direction. I understood I would be charged for the $39 but I was also charged $149 for the next month even though I had already canceled and the problem is nobody will return my calls or my emails and explain to me why or have the 149 charge removed.

Needless to say it’s a little intimidating applying for medical treatment online and obtaining the proper medication.
