I really like this app overall. I was especially impressed by how accurate the transcription is. Since the app is in English, I initially thought the transcription might not work as well with Spanish, but it works remarkably well and accurately captures what is said.

Another feature I find extremely useful is the built-in AI. You can ask it specific questions about a meeting, even if the meeting lasted several hours, and it provides precise answers along with the exact timestamp where the information was mentioned. This makes it incredibly easy to find specific information without having to go through the entire recording.

I would definitely recommend this app. It has been very useful and has exceeded my expectations.

I use Fireflies for my business. It saves SO MUCH TIME. I absolutely love it. Instead of trying to take notes and run a meeting, I can focus and give my full attention and know that fireflies is tracking everything for me in the background.

Fireflies does a good job summarizing meetings and capturing action items. It is easy to find the details in the transcript and/or audio if more clarity is required. It allows me to pay more attention to the conversation in real time.

Lovely tool for seamless minutes of meeting

I love it. I study a lot and use it to transcribe info, using 3 languages - works perfectly and 99% of words are accurate.

I use this valuable business tool on a weekly basis. Not only does it attend online meetings for me, but gives accurate recordings, summaries, to do lists and reminders of actions, which helps me to keep on track in my business
Also, I often use it in workshops, meetings in person, to record, transcribe and get the key points within minutes of the meeting ending which saves me time and allows me to participate in the meeting without distraction. Firelie.ai is a must have tool for your business!

Important meetings were not recorded and cannot be recovered

Within a short period of time, Fireflies failed to record six important meetings.

meetings lasted approximately 90 minutes, but only around two minutes were recorded. One meeting was not recorded at all.

Fireflies’ engineering team investigated the issue and confirmed that the recording capture stalled while the meetings were in progress. They also confirmed that the missing sections were never captured or uploaded and therefore cannot be recovered.

Fireflies has now deployed additional alerts to help detect this problem. However, this does not restore the lost recordings, transcripts, agreements or action points.

I am not writing this review to attack Fireflies. I am writing it to warn other users who rely on Fireflies as the only record of their meetings. A meeting-recording service must first and foremost record the complete meeting reliably.

Until Fireflies can guarantee that this issue has been resolved, I strongly recommend making a separate backup recording of every important meeting.

Pretty much garbage in my opinion.
I've just tried it and the search doesn't work properly.
Also when asking the chatbot questions, it can get stuck for minutes and sometimes indefinitely without a clear way of resetting it.

I've tried Fathom and Fireflies is by far simple to use, from scheduled recordings to adding fireflies to live meetings. You don't have to download anything on your computer which I appreciate after having a disappointing experience with Fathom.

This is the best and most indispensable tool we came across. Besides LLMs, this is the one that really pushed the needle in ways that are complimentary to Claude and other models and feeds the data from every web conference and event we attend. Simply amazing.
