I had a slight problem with a couple of small missing parts which was sorted straight away. The stools look very smart and I am very pleased with both them and the service I got from TecTake.

The stools are sturdy, and looked good. I did have a problem as in one of the bags containing the screws/washers etc had opened in transit and some of the parts were missing. These things happen. Contacted customer support and not only did they respond quickly but resolved it quickly, so all in all I have had a good experience with 'tectake' and would certainly buy from again.

After being quiet impressed with our initial meeting to discuss our needs with a very pleasant lady called Katie, we decided to go ahead with the work. This would take 4 days maybe a little sooner
she informed us.
The team of two started work on the 3rd February 2026.
The worked involved foil insulation on the rafters, removal of the old insulation, and laying of new insulation on the loft floor (as per contract).The foil insulation in itself was very time consuming, as its quite a large low pitched roof with many cross beams and would mean a lot of patch work, as its not clear runs of the sheets of foil. This took them 2 days and as far as we could tell looked good.
On the 3rd day I myself had to go out, returning later in the afternoon, and fully expected the team to still be here. On return my husband said they were all finished and gone. This surprised me, with what was left to do. He was only able to go to the top of the ladder being 81 in age and as far as he could tell from a forward view it looked fine. The following day I had to go into the loft, and I can go right into the loft. The first thing I saw was a whole strip that had been completely left with the old insulation there and no new insulation laid on that complete strip. On closer inspection of the new insulation saw that the old Insulation was still there and had not been removed (as per contract) only flattened and the new shoved on top!!
My husband immediately phoned the office, and was told this will be passed onto the operations manager. We had a call from him eventually on 10th February, and after a second call, once he had understood that the old insulation had not been removed, he said he would phone back on 11th February am. We are now23nd February and as yet have heard nothing, to say how they intend to put this right! To say we are not very happy is an understatement, and certainly not the professionalism we expected!!

Arrived on the day stated, drivers were fab, very polite and as bedroom was only a few steps into the hallway took it in our bedroom. Mattress is perfect.
