I contacted EDF on behalf of a friend who was struggling to make payments for energy usage over the phone due to hearing loss. I spoke with Tomide who was very patient and helpful. I acted as intermediary whilst he checked that my friend was happy for me to speak on her behalf. He set up a direct debit arrangement for her explaining to her, through me, how it worked and refunding any existing over payments. My friend was relieved to know that she wouldn’t need to worry again about maintaining payments. Keeping her home warm is vitally important to her health. Tomide understood this and was happy to spend extra time whilst I relayed information to my friend.

I wanted to have a scan at Phoenix because my GP was not able to offer this on the nhs. I was surprised how quickly the appointment was made. I was treated with courtesy throughout. There was no waiting. The scan was very detailed and results sent to my email inbox. The sonographer gave me a very reassuring verbal summary before I left and I followed up with her on a couple of points by email afterwards

I was advised by urgent care at hospital to seek an emergency eye assessment following a period of some alarming visual disturbances. The ophthalmologist who carried out the assessment could not have been more thorough, competent, kind, patient and reassuring. She carried out a range of examinations on my eyes, explaining simply and clearly what she was doing and what the results of each examination were. She followed up , as she promised, by sending me written information about the visual migraine I had experienced, and when to seek further follow up, together with a copy of her formal assessment. I was really impressed by her level of expertise and sensitive patient manner.

Brandon was extremely helpful and took time to assist us to find a suitable chair which would suit a petite person. Most armchairs were too big and deep for comfort. Brandon knew the stock well and showed us a few smaller chairs which might be suitable. We found one that was very comfortable. Brandon took time to explain the chair’s attributes, the warrantees, the method of care and spot cleaning and delivery processes and expectations. He was informative but never made us feel under pressure. We were extremely pleased with the purchase and the helpful assistance offered throughout by Brandon, which enabled us to find the perfect chair .

The matress topper arrived within a few days of purchase. It is beautifully bouncy and feels really luxurious. The cover is well made and there are straps which afix to the corners of the matress to keep it in place. It has made our bed extravagantly comfortable.
