Who runs this site
decomp.wtf is a free, non-commercial open-source project by Sam Wolfs, a private individual in Belgium. Contact: legal@decomp.wtf (English and Dutch).
This website describes the project and offers its installer. It has no accounts and hosts no ROMs, game code or other user content.
License
The decomp.wtf software is released under the MIT license; the source is on GitHub. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and its authors are not liable for any claim or damage arising from its use, as set out in the license. The installer also downloads third-party tools (compilers, splat, m2c and others), which come under their own licenses.
Responsible use
decomp.wtf runs on your computer and works only on files you supply. Use it with software you are entitled to use, don't use it to get around copy protection, and don't publish or distribute code or data from games whose rights you don't hold. Public decomp projects you continue come under their own licenses and rules. If you decompile together with others, the room runs on your own computer or server: you host it, you decide who joins and who sees the code, and this website is not involved. You are responsible for how you use it.
Trademarks
Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS and Switch are trademarks of Nintendo; PlayStation is a trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment; Xbox is a trademark of Microsoft. Other names belong to their owners. decomp.wtf is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, nor by decomp.dev or the projects it lists.
