We enjoyed the ride despite the inclement weather. We would like to come back post-Covid and get off at the other stations. Staff were very polite and helpful. Being a transport book fanatic I would have liked to have had more time browsing the books but I gathered we were not allowed back into the shop after the ride. We had a Virgin voucher from our son for our Ruby wedding and we wanted to upgrade to have our lunch on the train and we were disappointed not to be able to do that,so we had our picnic lunch in the car !Nothing to do with you probably but we thought signage to the railway was poor. Did not see any brown signs on A52 from Ashbourne.We wish you all the best for extending the line to Leek!
We were following the sat nav from Uttoxeter and wondered where on earth we were being taken! I knew the railway is situated on the A52 but would have liked the reassurance of a sign !!
