For anyone planning a trip to Rome, please include Local X as a resource. The people who work there, and for its sister company that helps with local tours, are amazing! If you want friendly people who truly know Rome and all the ins and outs and all the best places to tour, eat, and experience during your vacation, you must reach out to them! They listen to you, they are happy when you are happy, and they are local to Rome and to Italy. My husband and I went to Rome in late June of this year and had the wonderful opportunity to work with them. I would highly recommend them and give them major props! They helped make our trip to Rome everything we had hoped it would be...five stars 🌟 🤩 ✨️ 💛 ♥️

Nothing is too much trouble for the helpful and friendly staff. From organising tours at short notice to offering restaurant recommendations, they have been responsive and courteous. We couldn’t have wished for better hosts for our stay.

Amongst other things, they organised a golf cart tour for us, which was a great experience. With Fabrizio navigating us knowledgeably and expertly through the streets, we packed in most of the famous sights of Rome in three hours, withe regular stops for sightseeing and refreshments. Thoroughly recommended.

All in all, it has made our family trip to Rome a memorable one.

Kristian was such a knowledgeable and wonderful tour leader. I was traveling solo and wanted a nice introduction to Rome and he did just that. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is a must do if you’re visiting Rome and I would suggest it as the start to your trip.

Fantastic! Kristian is a great tour guide with just the right combination of serious information and fun. He paid attention to our wants and needs and made a few minor adjustments (and at least one major one) to make this the best tour we could hope for.

We had a wonderful evening tour with our experienced driver, Alessandro. We got to see all the main stops and the cart was super nice. Such a great evening!

I had a beautiful time. The gallery itself is magnificent and Maria the guide made the visit very special. She presented a lot of info about the art, the history of the collection, about the context of both. I very much liked and would recommend it to everyone. I was a great fan of Bernini, but seeing his work this close, with a lot if info to appreciate it even more was incredible. Thank you!

Fabrizio our guide was very knowledgeable and we visited some great spots. We chose the evening tour which was perfect as the days have been so hot. Highlights were sunset views of St Peter’s from the Orange Garden and Rome from Piazza Giuseppe Garabaldi, St Peter’s Square, the Trevi Fountain and many more.

I would highly recommend this tour company. We toured Rome by golf cart at night- it was fantastic. Our guide, Kristian, was great- friendly, professional and really knowledgeable about the city and its history. My family and I really enjoyed the tour- thank you!!

Wow! What a wonderful experience we had with Your Local X in Rome. They arranged our whole day for us; pick up and transfer from the cruise port to their office; luggage storage for our suitcases; the 3 hour golf cart tour with Francesco; drop off in Trastavere; and then our return transfer to our airport hotel. Your Local X was awesome! Thanks to Cristina, who originally set everything up; and to Helena as well! The staff were all excellent! Francesco is an excellent, relaxed tour guide who provided us with lots of great information and details of Rome; he even stopped by his own favorite family owned bakery for some little treats for us! We had the best day - thanks everyone!

Maria was friendly & very helpful. We had issues with our villa, not Maria’s fault at all. She was just lovely & assisted in any manner that she could. I would highly recommend her to anyone. This was our first time with Vrbo & I think we learned that we have to ask more questions in advance.

My mum is 89 and has always wanted to see Rome. This was a brilliant find if you want to see the sights but your legs can’t take you!
Marco was fantastic! He picked us up from our hotel at St Peters Square and told us the evenings itinerary. He then asked if there was anything else we wanted to see. Mum wanted to see Papa Francis at Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. This was no problem. He took us from the highest viewpoint over Rome, through tiny roads and back lanes that only the locals would know to the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, The Trevi fountain and much more. Marco avoided the push of the crowds - even at night. He advised us of great restaurants to visit, and had an impressive passion for Rome and its history that really gave a WOW factor!!
His English was fabulous! but what was really impressive is that he could speak Malay to my Mum.
To finish an unforgettable tour there was an evening service at the Basilica di Santa Maria in tribute to Papa Francis by candlelight. It was a really beautiful
