I order something from the 1960's. The Name of the Game. You can see the pilot on YouTube for free, (Fame is the Name of the Game (1966) |TV Movie | Tony Franciosa, Jill St. John).
The quality of the disks is unwatchable. Washed out static, dim color, absolute, copy of copy of a copy of a copy. Not worth even trying to watch A total rip off.

I bought and paid shipping on a dvd when I got a notice from post office that I owed $6.16 for postage due I paid for the postage due to get my dvd.They shipped it at first class mail flat not at package rate and when I contacted Loving the classics about this they did not refund what I had to paid to get my dvd.Dont buy anything from them they are not a reputable company! Also the dvd was junk not a very good movie it was blurry out of focusI Bad quality DON'T BUY ANY DVDs FROM THEM!!!!!!

They're okay, I guess. I ordered The Bob Crane Show and Arsenic & Old Lace (1969) from them back in February. I got what I asked for, so no worries there. The recordings weren't the best, although they were still good enough to see.

However:

• I never got the free movie I was promised. (They tried to tell me it depends on availability, which - in my eyes - if the deal is up at the time I place the order, that means they're available)
• They wouldn't send me the movie separately after I pointed that out, even after I included a screenshot to show that the same deal still up on their website that day.
• They sent me a black and white version of Arsenic and Old Lace, despite the fact the website listing clearly said it's in color. Tried to tell me whether or not it's in color depends on their source material used at the time, and that it states as much in their store policy. (I'm sorry, but who's out here checking store policy things like that?🤨 That's the whole point of the listing!) The movie also appeared to be cut short, which I know because the b&w version of it on YouTube was about 40 minutes longer than the one I received. However, that version was also worse quality then the disc version I received from Loving the Classics as well.
• After 2 months went by (it says items can take up to 8 weeks to ship), I had to reach out to the company to Messenger before I got an update on the status of my order. I was told in stock items only take 2 weeks to ship...but then you supposedly can't order anything unless it's in stock, so don't really understand that one. Seems like circular logic.
• They took forever to respond to emails and texts.

All of those were things I wasn't happy with. So yeah, while Loving the Classics is technically legitimate, they're definitely on the morally grey side. Wouldn't use them again unless I had no other choice. If you order from them I'd use a virtual version of your card, just to be safe.

But honestly, I'd recommend using a different company (such as True TV Movies) if at all possible. Not only are THEY honest and quick to communicate, they offer digital downloads as an option for anything you purchase. They'll even send you a sample of a product you're interested in before you buy it, so that you can see the quality of what you'll be getting. I got Sex and the Married Woman (1977) from them when I couldn't find it anywhere else, and I was very pleased with my purchase.

We had an ok transaction, with a hard to find tv show. The dvds are hand labeled with numbers, the quality of the dvds are fine for an old tv show. It arrived in a week or two after purchase and the price was reasonable. We are grateful to them for this old show.

Placed order about 3 weeks ago and received it today. Have ordered numerous times in the past and always received my order. Newest order is a great quality.

Ordered a DVD on 31-Dec-2025, they charged my account on 03-Jan-2026.
It is now 10-Mar-2026, no DVD and no response to multiple inquires

Most site reviews were not positive. LovingtheClassics the only website I could find that offered a complete DVD set of "Bachelor Father". I purchased the 40-DVD set and it took about 2 weeks to arrive. I’m very happy with the purchase. It has every episode in order with four shows created per DVD-R. Lots of numbered DVD’s. The video and audio quality are great as any other classic show on TV and 1000 times better than episode’s found on youtube. I also ordered "Johnny Quest" DVD set. They are used original DVD box set. They are in pretty good condition overall.

Ordered 2 DVDsin November and we never received them. Sent several messages to both the email address provided and the customer service number. Never received a response nor did we receive the refund requested after waiting for 3 months. At this point I lost hope. DISHONEST Company!

Zero stars… this is a scam company. I really wished I had read reviews before I ordered. I ordered a DVD with a movie from the 30s that features my great-grand-uncle. After almost two months I received a completely different DVD, and they haven’t responded since. So… Money out the window.

Be careful with this site! I nearly bought the Bachelor Father DVD set, but I did some research first. Previous buyers mentioned the audio and video quality are terrible. I’ll be looking for the show on YouTube or the Internet Archive instead, and waiting for a legitimate official release. Thanks to the other reviewers for the heads-up!

they took months to fill my order. beware!

I ordered a hard-to-find 1930s copy of Rhythm Racketeer, which this company posted from the US to the UK. Whilst I cannot fault the delivery—the item arrived promptly—the quality of the DVD is appallingly poor. A complete waste of twenty quid! I would strongly advise avoiding this seller.

Scam artists. Some DVDs are defective. They claim they will replace any defective for free. They lie & come up with the most absurd excuses to cheat you. I should’ve paid attention to all the bad reviews. Easily the worst experience I’ve had in 25 years on the collectors circuit

It's a good company loving the classics I always got my order it takes time to get here sometimes the orders take time to arrive...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I order the 2 seasons of Lancer. The DVD's are very poor quality. I would never order from them again. They charge my credit card the day of the order, but it was not ship until a month later. It will take me awhile to watch the full 2 season and who knows what they will be like, but the 1st 3 DVD's are very bad.

I ordered the complete series of the show Julia from LovingtheClassics. What a mistake I made! They recorded the shows from 3-4 different channels. The quality ranges from terrible to so-so. Then, they didn't even take the commercials out.

When I made my order I received an email a couple of weeks later stating it was being shipped. When it arrived there was also a free movie in the package. I know it took several weeks to arrive, but we have to realize that not every one provides instant gratification like Ebay and Amazon. I remember when I was young and ordered from magazines such as TV Guide. It always stated please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. We really have gotten spoiled these days.
So, I am pleased with the service, emails and texts that I received from them. Not every thing has to be done with the speed of light. People just have to have patience. I definitely will recommend Lovingtheclassis to my friends and family.

It took several weeks, but I got them. My issue with them was that I already had seen nine of the episodes and really only needed the last four I didn’t already have. It didn’t say which episodes were on the disc. I e-mailed, but got no response. I was so desperate to get the last four episodes that I just ordered it anyways. (It says that if you have to text them. I really don’t text and I don’t know why I should have to contact them anyways to find out which episodes are being offered-why that isn’t just listed on the website????!)
This will go right into the trash!!! They weren’t even the first seven episodes and none of the four that I still wanted!!!

Looked for a DVD. Long time to open page. Slow response time for a Search. Picked a DVD I wanted and tried to put it in a "save" box. Can't; have to sign up first. After signing up, I'm told I need to confirm by clicking on the link in the email sent to me. No email arrived. I clicked on customer service. The form said I should write my question in the form above. There was no form, nor anything to click on that would allow me to write. I phoned them. No answer. Finally an answering machine answered and said to leave a message. Moments later, it said the mailbox was full. I will not be buying anything from this company.
