Great platform, but messaging fees for buyers ruin it
I gives 4 stars because the website generally works very well — it’s clear, easy to use, and it’s great to see who has viewed or searched for your listing. However, even as a seller, I don’t think buyers should have to pay just to send a message. At first, I was surprised why no one was reaching out to me. But later, when I was looking to buy a dog myself, I realised I had to pay £7.99 just to send an inquiry. That completely discouraged me, and I ended up looking elsewhere. As a result, all of my puppies were sold on Pets4Homes and Gumtree, where messaging and video calls are free for buyers. I believe the seller should cover the listing costs since they are the ones making the sale and can factor it into their expenses, rather than forcing a buyer to pay just to ask a question.
It’s also quite misleading that the site is called "Freeads" when it isn't actually free for buyers at all.

Advertisers can list their pets without paying a mandatory listing fee, with optional upgrades available for those who want additional features or visibility.
