We were on the last two days of a tour of the Canadian Rockies when both my husband and I became very sick with what we were sure was COVID, which was subsequently confirmed upon our return home. We could not continue on with the tour and instead quarantined in our hotel until we could take a private transfer to another hotel so we could fly out the next morning. We made a claim for $400 which was the cost of the private transfer which was not provided by the tour company. FAYE denied the claim saying the policy required us to see a doctor beforehand, notwithstanding that the language also stated, "unless not reasonably able to do so". We were out of the country, staying in a hotel and did not have reasonable access to a doctor there. Nor, given that we were pretty sure we were dealing with a COVID infection, did we want to go out and about and potentially infect other people. We were just looking for a $400 reimbursement for excess travel costs we incurred because we were too sick to continue with our tour. I have used FAYE a few times and have enthusiastically recommended them to several friends, both of which I will no longer do. FAYE purports to be a different kind of travel insurance company, easy to use and consumer friendly. It took them over three weeks to review and deny a $400 claim. I suspect this has cost them multiples of that for the time involved adjusting the claim, the marketing dollars wasted, and the loss of current and potential customers.

Liked reminders. But didn’t have to test the policy features. So don’t know what will happen.

I always felt that there was someone who could help if things went sideways on our trip overseas.

Erin worked with us to personalize our trip for a smooth, well thought out itinerary. She made all the reservations and even got us some discounts we never would have found on our own.

The app was easy to use. The flight updates received were spot on and timely. I didn't have to file any claims...so not sure how well that works. Even so, I would recommend Faye to friends and family.

I especially appreciated the App sending me gate change alerts. I received them BEFORE the airlines sent them!

The entire process was simple, easy and no frills. I was able to get the coverage I needed and felt confident in my choice. No complaints. The application was easy and it was great value.

Knowing that if something happened Faye would cover most of it allowed me to fully enjoy my trip.

The trip was great, no issues with Faye Travel. I did however have to file a claim medical claim with Faye for reimbursement of a medical issue due to bites while on the cruise, that required medical attention and antibiotics thru IV.
