WeddingsOnline is a very professional, well-run platform with great visibility, and Rory and the team have always been a pleasure to deal with. The enquiry system is easy to use, communication has been excellent throughout, and the support from Rory and the team has been outstanding. I always felt well looked after, and I was also delighted to have Coco Blossom Cake Design featured in a number of beautifully written articles.

The WOL platform and the incredible support from the entire team have been total game-changers for me as a destination wedding planner in Spain.
Since our recent award win back in March, the momentum has been unstoppable; our 2027 calendar is now almost completely full, and that’s taking into account that we do weddings every single day of the week! We are already seeing a huge influx of bookings for 2028, which is just remarkable.

I would not recommend WeddingsOnline.
I would not recommend WeddingsOnline.
They claim to support brides-to-be, but my experience was quite the opposite. I joined their Facebook group as a bride and regularly contributed to discussions, offering advice and support to other brides.
However, after unintentionally making a mistake — posting once about a small business I had recently started — I was messaged by an admin explaining that business posts weren’t allowed. I immediately apologised and clarified that I had confused the group with another (HIGM Munster), where such posts are permitted. It was an honest mix-up.
Despite my apology and assurance that I wouldn’t post about the business again, I was sent pricing details to pay for business access. When I explained that I had only just started out and wasn’t in a position to sign up for paid promotion, I was removed from the group — not just as a business, but as a bride. I made it clear I only wished to stay as a bride-to-be, but was told no.
The whole interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and came across as a power trip. In my view, it showed more concern for money than for supporting brides. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone planning their wedding.

To clarify - our group policy is that current weddingsonline clients only are allowed to promote or represent their business within the group. This is in place to protect the experience for couples, but also to create a valuable opportunity for the businesses who invest in being part of our platform.
Once it became clear that you were also using the group in connection with a business, we had to apply that policy consistently. This is not personal, and it is the same approach for everyone.
We do understand that starting a business can be difficult, and we’d genuinely love the opportunity to work with you in the future if the timing is right.

I have been working as a supplier with Weddings online for the past 6 years + and I have to say they are very professional! If I have any issues with my listing or any questions they are straight back to me instantly. I would highly recommend any suppliers out there to sign up with them. I’ve worked with weddings online for years and I promoted my photography service through them in the early years to great effect. I’ve since moved away from weddings into more B2B services but I always send my friends, colleagues and family members who are getting married back to WOL. It really helped me as a supplier and the couples I know, it really is the only one stop solution out there. Their professionalism and personal service for each vendor and couple really makes the wedding planning so much easier.

No Delivery on Value Promises
My partner and I signed up our well-known but small cottage business to advertise with weddings-online last year. They gave us all the promises. All I can say is that it was of zero value to us - a complete waste of our hard earned money and time. They're moderation of the discussion group is a disgrace. It's so toxic and they know that small businesses are suffering on there. The pressure they apply to re-advertise even after they've been told you are finished is ridiculous. They openly allow bullying, harassment and lies about businesses other from anonymous posters. The thing is so toxic. I've been told by several people that they allow it to force suppliers to keep paying for advertising. Horrible experience altogether. My husband made a huge effort to be on the chat and interacting with couples but competitors anonymously battered him with insults about our business. We didn't get a single enquiry from our advertising subscription and we are well known and successful in a small way in the industry. My husband questioned the contract and tried to get out of it as there was no value. He eventually caved after penalising us with extra months charges. Don't sign up until you know what you're getting into. Ask around. They don't deliver.

Weddingsonline has supported Irish wedding suppliers for nearly 25 years and delivers value through visibility, verified reviews, enquiries and ongoing support. While results can vary supplier by supplier, many small and well-established businesses grow successfully on the platform.
The Help! I’m Getting Married Facebook group is heavily moderated. Bullying, harassment and defamatory or misleading content are not tolerated and are removed when they breach our guidelines. We categorically refute any suggestion that negative posts are allowed to pressure suppliers into advertising - that is simply not true.
Advertising is always optional and our contracts are clear. We would welcome the opportunity to review the specific concerns raised and invite you to contact us directly so this can be addressed fairly.

i wish i'd read the 1 star reviews before i used this website. We booked 4 suppliers using adds on the site. 1 of them was ok. 1 was grand, but just arrogant and 2 were a total disaster. There's so much horrible bile on the chat group. The awful abuse, lies and negativity would make you want to not have a weddin. It almost only wedding suppliers pretending to be bride.

The best platform in the wedding business
I’ve been a customer of weddings on line for almost 10 years and I’ve always found the site to be excellent
I’ve trialled other platforms but they were all a waste of time, energy and money. The only platform that had constantly provided results has been weddings on line.
The back office support is incredible and the constant support and encouragement is reassuring, supportive and a friendly ear nearby
Weddings on line have encouraged me to adopt professional procedures within my business meaning I’m now moving from a part time profession into a full time professional business… that has been thanks to the support and encouragement from this platform who have championed my success. Being listed with weddings online
I have been with weddings online for a few years now and I have gotten many many bookings coming through the platform. I find it's a great way for couples to look for their suppliers in one place, read reviews and get genuine feedback via the facebook group from other couples. As a supplier, it more than makes sense for me to be listed there and I feel couples knowthey can trust it too. I have always found the entire team very helpful and supportive and I look forward to many more years of being listed and more importantly 'found' there.😊

I’m a vendor with WeddingsOnline.ie & very happy with the support they provide. One of the really helpful features is their milestone badges – they’re a great marketing tool & something I use in my own advertising.
Another plus is their HIGM Facebook group for couples. It’s impressively managed almost 24/7, with the team consistently answering brides’ questions both day & night. The level of engagement and dedication they show to supporting couples is outstanding & really sets them apart.
