Ive been using Storykeeper for 8 months and I guess I am half way through. It's the best present a daughter could give a Dad ever.
The incredible thing is that once you start to write, memories just leap out at you... buried and forgotten names, places and events keep rising to the surface ... it's a journey like no other.
I now write anywhere on my laptop and upload to Storykeeper when I have stories I'm happy with.
Storykeeper is so easy to use and photos simple to upload...I'm loving the experience.

This is a great keepsake and will certainly become an heirloom in my family. I think it captures and perpetuates the history of families.

It is such a great idea to be able to write my stories. It was a gift from my niece, so it is a very special experience for me

I find the more I write, the more memories I recall and the software is relatively easy to navigate. This product was bought for me by my children and I'm grateful no specific time limit applies in respect to completion. That added bonus gives me time to search through old family photos/stories to add to my life's stories.

It gently guides me to capture the apparently inconsequential, but nonetheless important, episodes of my life.

Freedom. The power to recall my memories in my own time. The prompts are great, and I am still free to create my own prompts. My mind responds very well to the format.

StoryKeeper has made entering information easy and insightful. The weekly reminders helps in thinking about the kind of information I want to record and share.

The weekly prompts were helpful. I could choose to use them or not. I preferred to write my own stories in a word document and then paste them into the Storybook - it just made it easier for me to edit. I appreciated that I was not pressured by Storybook and could take my time as well as write about my own personal prompts from my family. The tutorials were very helpful. I was recommended to Storybook by a friend and I can recommend this program to others.

I have had several questions, and they have been answered promptly by the support staff. Helpful and professional. The weekly prompts remind me of other topics and have made the whole experience worthwhile.

Storykeeper is an excellent record for yourself and eventually other's to enjoy. It's user friendly and you can get help. It's great for firming up memory details.

I love the questions! And, when it feels like a repeat of something I've already captured, I love being to change it to a question that reflects an important part of my life.

Found it all a bit strange at first, but am slowly getting into it and find I’m remembering things from years ago that I had totally forgotten.

I have found making my StoryKeeper book really easy to do. Making my own questions has helped shape my story my way and the weekly reminder questions are also helpful. I was worried about using the voice to text option, but gave it a go when I felt it was taking too long and amazingly it was super easy and moved everything along that much quicker. I'm enjoying telling my story for my family and can't wait to see the finished book.

It has been and still is a voyage of discovery into my past, recovering memories. It provides the structure for self discipline and aiming (not always achieved) of regular writing. I have had to identify times when I will not be interrupted so that I have the peace to reflect and set down so many details. I have communicated with other family members to find details that seem important to the description and record. This means it has been a therapeutic exercise capturing moments of my life that would otherwise be lost in passing time. The contrast of how life was against how life is helps to identify self and my individual journey through this extraordinary life. It adds meaning.

Ideal for anyone who loves reminiscing and capturing special memories

I was given Story Keeper by my son. At the time, I was caring for my husband who has Alzheimer’s. I tried doing the AI version to save me time but it really didn’t sound like me and I put it in the “too hard” basket until this year as he is now in care. It has been such a fun and interesting project for me to embrace while adjusting to life on my own. It has awakened memories I hadn’t thought of for years and stimulated conversations with family and friends. It is a project I can do in my own time and at my own rate. I prefer to write my own stories which I can edit if I need to. I really appreciate there is no pressure to finish and that the end result will be something my family can remember me by.

I enjoy getting the prompts and relating them to my story - some being not applicable, but, most helping me recall my past.
As I am moving very slowly with this project (a gift from my daughters) I appreciate that there is no pressure of deadlines to meet.

I received a subscription to Storykeeper as a Christmas gift. I'm 78 yeas old and it took me awhile to get started and learn how it all worked. Once I got into it I was able to answer the prompts and tell my story easily. Not that hard at all. There is no pressure to finish the book in a specific time. Adding photos was fun and I enjoyed looking at old photos from my past. I am still working on finishing the book and have enjoyed the process. I know that my children will enjoy reading some of the stories about their mom.

StoryKeeper was surprisingly inspirational with the regular prompts that are sent to me. These prompts bring back long forgotten memories, put smiles on my face and encouraged me to document my life so I can share my experiences with my children and grandchildren. I am truly enjoying this journey of awakening.
