Highly recommend Dr Mani and his team at Optimal Vision. I had refractive lens exchange on 22 July, and the whole experience has been amazing. I was struggling with glasses, had early stage cateracts and while I was eager to correct the problems I was having, I was also very anxious about the procedure but it could not have been any easier. The procedure is very quick and no pain, at best just a little pressure. The whole team just put you at complete ease. I am only 6 weeks post procedure and have some residual inflamation still settling so still early days, but I have not worn glasses since. If you are thinking of having vision correction, Optimal Vision is the place to go, you will be very well looked after.

My sister and I both had our LASIK surgery here, and we are both very happy with our experience. From my very first visit, every member of staff was incredibly welcoming, professional and explained what to expect at each stage—from the pre-operative assessments to the surgery itself and the post-operative recovery. Dr. Mani is exceptional. The entire process is consultant-led. I felt incredibly confident and at ease after my initial consultation with Dr Mani, thanks to Rima for arranging it at such short notice. Dr. Mani provided a thorough explanation, clarifying what is possible and what to expect post-laser, especially considering my thin cornea and the conflicting advice I had received from other clinics.

I had LASIK Laser Eye Surgey carried out on the 30/1/26 and I’ve had brilliant results, the very next morning my vision was spot on and I can go about my day to day life happy being able to see. I had my laser eye surgery at Optimal Vision a week ago and I honestly couldn’t fault the experience. From the very first consultation through to aftercare, I never felt pressured or as though I was being sold something, which really set them apart from other clinics I had visited. It’s only the fourth day after my lens replacement surgery, and I can honestly say my life has completely changed. After 44 years of wearing glasses — since I was just two years old — I can finally see clearly without them. I’ve been long-sighted with astigmatism for as long as I can remember, and my prescription had recently reached +5 diopters.

When I walked into the theatre, the world around me was just a blur. But when I walked out, I could actually see the faces of Dr. Mani’s assistants behind me — clear as day! I was stunned. For a very, VERY long time I had been looking into laser eye surgery. I finally had the nerves to book an appointment and my only regret is I didn't do it a few years ago. Being 55 means I was only eligible for Lens Replacement surgery. From the second I walked in, Dr. Mani and his team were nothing but amazing. I was told very clearly what my options were and we went through all the tests and I was explained what would happen during and after the surgery. The day of the surgery, like everyone else, I would imagine, I was very nervous. For no reason whatsoever, as it turned out. The whole procedure was over with in less than half an hour and I was constantly keeping updated what they were doing. No pain, no discomfort at all. As I live close to the surgery, I was able to walk home by myself. As suggested, I went to bed straight away and when I woke up, much to my surprise, I could read without glasses, even fine print. Went for a check-up the next day and everything was perfectly fine. We're now 3 weeks later and every second I am surprised with the impact this surgery had on my life. I couldn't thank Dr. Mani and all of his amazing team enough and I will recommend their services to anyone who asks.
