The engineer arrived on time and was very efficient. He advised me that my boiler was working well but told me my 10 years of cover for parts is over so I will have to decide about insurance cover on boiler.

Second visit as first engineer had fixed issue with boiler but it developed again the next day- been 3 days and all seems to be ok

I reported a problem with my boiler to…
I reported a problem with my boiler to the Ideal Service centre on 20th July and was booked to have an engineer call on 22nd July. The engineer (Alan) rang early morning to confirm a visit time of between 1 and 3 pm. The fault was duly found and corrected.
Alan was curtious and kept me up to date with the repair progress. Overall the whole process was hassle free.

Ridiculous requirement to pay before you know availability of slots
Booked annual service visit. Engineer arrived on time and was friendly and efficient.
However when you phone to book the service you need to pay in advance before they will even open their diary to see which slots are available. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Please sort this out

I thought the engineer was fine. Pleasant and polite. I would have liked a written resume of what the service consisted of however. Perhaps this could be put in place fir future visits
