The items were easy to buy online. They were delivered on time and I was given a 3 hour delivery slot. The items were delivered within the time slot. The only complaint I have is that, although I had paid for my old appliances to be taken away and recycled and the new ones unwrapped and the packaging taken away, the drivers asked me if I would mind unpacking the washing machine as it was only wrapped in paper! They unpacked the fridge freezer. The washing machine, which was in my outdoor building, was packed in polystyrene and plastic! I had to get my son to unwrap it for me!

Hughes had the items we needed and…
Hughes had the items we needed and could deliver quickly. There was a blip with the website but a telephone call to a really helpful call handler sorted everything quickly for us. The delivery guys were great too.

I was emailed multiple times about delivery which included the 3hr time slot and registration of the delivery vehicle, then called half an hour before delivery. These guys are brilliant with communication. Would highly recommend 👍

The process of ordering and having the dishwasher delivered was very straightforward. The delivery team were cheerful, efficient and accommodating, making the whole experience hassle-free.
The after-sales service was also excellent. I would have no hesitation in using this company again and have already recommended them to a couple of friends.

Wouldn’t buy electrical goods from anyone else
It was ordered, packed and delivered when specified. Our usual experience with Hughes. We buy all our electrical from them and have done for the past 10 years.

Let down by delivery company they use
Product and ordering fine, but delivery by BJS was not; they didn't follow the satnav but decided to take what they thought was a shortcut instead, so ended up the other side of a pedestrian precinct to my property. Rather than drive around, they then chose to carry the tumble dryer all the way across the precinct and block in all the cars using the precinct shop while they were doing so. Given that I live less than a mile from two Hughes Ipswich stores I expected it to actually be delivered by Hughes, as was indicated on their website, so very disappointed that it wasn't, and now less likely to use the company again.
