I ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered to a friend's home ahead of the funeral of a loved one, which I was unable to attend. I was contacted over a week later with a nonchalant email asking me to reconfirm the date and delivery address and saying they were never dispatched. The funeral was long over at this stage. I rang to complain. The man on the phone was kind and apologetic but the best he could do was send the flowers tomorrow and issue a 50% refund - not remotely good enough given the distress this has caused. I am really really upset and disappointed with this service. I won't be ordering again.

Timely delivery of beautiful flowers

Just an update on my original review of flowers direct, in my original review I had given them 3 stars . I am updating that review to 5 stars upon communication with the customer service, they couldn’t have been quicker and very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend this company

I have used flowers direct before however on this occasion it was disappointing. I was there to see the flowers delivered to a workplace colleague and they were a bit jaded looking and not so fresh looking and the hatbox a little dirty very very disappointing.

Extremely disappointed with this order - flowers were not fresh/wilted. I ordered white roses - they had some black marks all over them. + ordered a heart balloon - some round shape mint color balloon was sent instead

My initial experience was disappointing, as the Extra Large Peony Bouquet arrived in poor condition. The flowers appeared to have been crushed in the box, and some of them did not look fresh.

However, after I contacted Flowers Direct via WhatsApp, they responded within two minutes and immediately arranged a replacement. The new bouquet arrived quickly and was absolutely beautiful, exactly what I had expected in the first place.

I really appreciate how quickly and professionally the issue was handled. While the first delivery was disappointing, the excellent customer service and prompt resolution made a big difference.

I ordered flowers in advance to be delivered to my home for my wedding anniversary. On the day of delivery, the tracking link showed no updates. After contacting the courier, I was told they never received the physical parcel. When I contacted Flowers Direct, I was told the order was "misdirected to a wrong depot."

Because they are based in Dublin, they were unable to offer a same-day replacement, meaning I was left with no flowers on my anniversary. While the customer service agent (Alyssa) was polite and apologetic, the logistics were a total failure. If you are ordering for a time-sensitive, special occasion, I would be very cautious.
