Exbooks.com evil fraud.
My most sincere complaint is about the books found at exbooks.com.
The first thing to note is that there is no telephone number for any type of Customer Service. Does not exist. There is a no sales phone number.
It is very clear that this website has been designed to deceive students.
My daughter tried to buy a book for a summer class she was taking. She needed the book quickly and ordered it with expedited shipping via DHL. Your bank account, using a debit card, was charged immediately after the purchase.
The book never came. I contacted DHL on behalf of my daughter. DHL never received the book to be sent. Then, not only did my daughter not receive the book, she was also cheated by the additional shipping fees.
My daughter and I have sent numerous emails to exbooks.com. All have been left unanswered.
Please do not attempt a purchase from these criminals.
In general, compaines like this that sells school books and companies that say they buy used schoolbooks are, in general, ... pure frauds. Our only successful book purchases have been from a school bookstore on or from Amazon. I encourage you to sell your used books to students directly instead of going through one of the fraudulent sites online. The school libraries are also reliable.
Please do not be fooled by exbooks.com, they certainly do not have their business in mind. They are frauds, delinquents, criminals ... use your synonym of evil here, it will apply.
