Ordered 3 packs of pads, it’s been over a week & half & still the item hasn’t been dispatched. I rang & was told that they are short staffed as always: 2nd time using them & it’s the same poor customer service. Never again! Useless company. Was told by a lady that they’d send me a tracking number but guess what nothing? I’ll be contacting my bank to get a refund off these cowboys!

We were waiting for the shower seat to be fixed on the wall. My husband used the seat in the shower it looks great and more importantly it's it's very practical.

I ordered a memory foam foot rest as I have arthritis in my feet and ankles.
The foot rest arrived really quickly. Everything was well packaged and arrived in good condition. I was really pleased.
It's a great foot rest. I possibly would maybe want something in the future with a grip on the bottom as we have wooden floors so does slip a little, but it's so comfy.

I ordered the 'bath in bed' wipes for an elderly relative. They are excellent value and were delivered within two days of ordering. My relative has used similar products before and said they are invaluable for anyone who has physical problems preventing total immersion in water or access to washing facilities.

An initial request for a replacement mobility scooter due to an insurance claim was handled very efficiently and when ordered the delivery was received ontime.

I ordered two cushions instead of one by mistake.
This proved to be no problem as it was all sorted out with one phone call and the second cushion was collected from my home two days later.

The product is well made and was easy to assemble. It was delivered less than 24 hours after ordering.

I have been on crutches for 32 years due to a horrific RTA so I need sturdy comfortable support.

Order no: EA3947880. I made the order for an expensive (over £1300) Aerocarbon Powerchair on 24th Aug 2026 (now 8 days ago) for my elderly, disabled parent. I received an initial receipt, but have had no further emails regarding delivery or dispatch.

I contacted the office by telephone last Thursday 27th 2026 for an update, and was told that the chair had just arrived in the warehouse and would be dispatched soon.

Having received nothing since then, I again contacted yourselves this morning (Tue Sept 1st 2026) and was initially told that the item was on a back order, but then was told that it might actually already be in the warehouse and just needed to be put on the shelves to be picked.

I was then told that a message would be sent to the warehouse for the item's dispatch to be expedited (and that it's dispatch would be imminent), and that I will notified via email on dispatch.

Based on my experience, I can't say I am confident that the chair will be dispatched and delivered imminently, and because of this, and the lack of updates/email communication, I would not recommend purchasing items from Essential Aids.

However, I hope the company will prove me wrong and deliver the chair quickly so that my parent, who is disabled, can get the item they are desperately waiting for.
