Honestly, there are better providers out there for the same baked goods that use better ingredients and no palm oil or chocolate composite bulking ingredients, for less money. Get Baked, get stuffed.

The chocolate was indeed delicious!

Overpriced for what feels like quite boring products. Having said that, I adored the cinnamon roll and then the coffee cookies. I bought things from GB about 3 times - trying different things. Same conclusion. But the coffee cookie is probably my favourite thing I’ve ever eaten that was coffee flavoured so it has to be a middle ground review .

I purchased the Milk Chocolate Bertha in the London store. I had previously tried a version when they collaborated with Selfridges( must be the dark version). Unfortunately I didn't like this at all, my mistake was to get milk chocolate, another mistake was to warm it which made it taste even worse, releasing a horrible aftertaste. I wouldn't purchase again. It's alot to pay for cake when you don't find it that nice. It was packaged well, easily share among 4 people which makes it below the average cost for a a slice of cake in London. Not for me.

Order GB273238 - I’m a long time visitor of the store but since moving I made my first order on the website. I Ordered 2 Slices including the Milkyberha. Package Arrived and the Milk Choc was as good as normal but the Milkybertha was so so dry, it was horrible (which other reviews have claimed too) I contacted GB via email right away, expecting a swift reply.
Nothing for days, a follow up sent 3 days later - still nothing.
An Instagram Dm, still nothing.

After replying to a Instagram post I was greeted to a swift reply stating no contact made… no emails received and no DMs on Instagram.
My DMs are open so this is no excuse I’m afraid. I was also made to feel like an idiot in the comments by whomever manages the Social Media pages.

Shoddy customer service, a company with so much social media hype that they are already disregarding their original customer base.

I won’t be ordering or visiting again in the future.

Pre ordered a Wheel of Bertune on 29th July, with expected delivery Thurs 13th or Fri 14th August, perfect for my sisters birthday on Sunday 16th. I hadn't received any despatch email by the 14th so emailed asking for tracking. Got not reply. I messaged on Instagram, got no reply. I emailed again on Sat 15th after still not getting despatch information, I asked for a refund as my sister was going away on the 19th and if it was despatched on the Monday it would be too late for her to enjoy before she went away. I finally got an email on the Monday saying it would be despatched that day for delivery Tuesday. I asked for it to be cancelled and refunded once more. No reply. Got a email on Tuesday from DHL saying there was a delay and it would be delivered on Wednesday. Got an email today saying it was delayed and would be delivered tomorrow. I've given up and done a charge back through my bank. £45 is a lot of money to receive nothing and get awful customer service. I have bought stuff from GetBaked for years but this will be the last time.

I saw a video on Get Baked's social media about their "Wheel of Bert-une" - a selection of eight slices of different flavoured cakes. I shared it with one of my children as a suggestion for a different type of birthday cake, and we agreed to order it.

The website noted that August "pre-orders" would be delivered either 13 or 14 August but the date could not be chosen. That was great timing as the birthday was on the 15th. I ensured someone was in on both days and received an email on 13 August to say the shipment was on its way - but there was no tracking info provided.

Early on the 14th I emailed and requested the tracking information and received an automated reply noting that they aim to respond within 48 hours. That, coupled with no tracking info, made me think the order was not going to turn up. And I was right. No communication, no delivery.

That meant I needed to go out on Saturday to get a replacement cake, making me doubly out of pocket for that part of the celebration. I received an email on Saturday afternoon, saying that deliveries were held back because of the hot weather and apologising if I didn't receive the email. It went on to say the cakes would be delivered today, 18 August.

I emailed back within the hour to say I never got the email, I appreciate melted cakes wouldn't be nice but equally some type of system to ensure customers received such important information (such as a Read Receipt) would be helpful in future. And while mistakes happen, the cakes would be no good to me on Tuesday for a birthday on Saturday.

As a Tuesday delivery implied the shipment wouldn't be dispatched until Monday, I asked for the order to be cancelled and for my money to be refunded. I never received a reply to that request.

This morning I received both an email and a text from DHL advising they would be delivering the order today. My intention was to refuse it but I couldn't - because there was a massive sticker on the box stating "Do Not Return".

So I'm now stuck with eight slices of cake for a birthday that was four days ago. We decided to try them anyway, as it appears I've paid for them - and honestly? They're okay but nowhere near the quality we expected.

I'm so disappointed with this order on every possible level. I followed this business over the past few years and have watched them become more and more successful - but this was my first order because the products are pricey (to me anyway). I would still like my money back (or some kind of compensation) because I followed their rules, ordered in time, ensured we were available on the dates dictated and emailed promptly enough to avoid the "replacement" package being sent at all. Very poor that you can't contact anyone other than by email, which isn't responded to in a timely way.

The closing of the original order email said, "Bertha loves you." Really? Well Bertha can get baked.

Got a half and half plus some cookies. Pretty disappointed, cake is dense and dry, the frosting is made with so much veg oil, that it costs you mouth. The white chocolate doesn’t taste like white chocolate. It’s a. Viral novelty, for the price avoid. Cookies average for the Brice, very biscuity crumbly texture rather than soft cookie you would expect, the glazes are nice but don’t make up for am average cookie.

Pre ordered a milkybertha. The cake was crushed at one side, the sponge sadly was tasteless and the milkybar frosting/centre wasn’t much like milkybar and had an almost artificial taste. Was also delivered in a massive box which is likely what sanded the cake to end up crushed - a disappointing experience overall. Most of the cake has been put into the bin. Delivery was quick hence the 2 stars.

Wonky ... not wonky! Makes me feel wonky like I just took a class A drug! The Random Cookies and Wonky Bertha should come with warning signs, I find it hard to believe they are legal.

Each purchase should only be authorised after a full GP health check to ensure the buyer is able to cope with ingestion of said goods.

This is good sh1t! DONE and DONE!

Please note, the product arrived on time, packaged perfectly and definitely did not look or taste Wonky.

We had the outlet Brownie box. They got delivered next day and are delicious. Still finishing them off 4 days later and they’re still good and not dry! The caramel Brownie is soo good

I ordered a Bertha cake and I must admit it wasn't to my taste and I won't order again.

It was very pricey for what I got and I found more icing/ganache (which was very sickly) than cake (which was very dry).

It might just not be to my taste but I was expecting amazing things at that price but I was disappointed.

I use Get Baked quite a lot, delicious cookies and cakes that make great presents. I contacted them recently when l forgot to add free shipping code.Straight away they said they would give me a refund. It is still within the 5 to 10 days and confident l will receive it.

Bertha tried twice, wouldn't order again.

So I held off writing this review until I had tried the milk chocolate Bertha, as we ordered the normal one and it was incredibly rich (and I am definitely not someone who usually considers there to be such a thing as 'too rich' when it comes to chocolate based treats)

Milk Chocolate Bertha arrived yesterday and its a bit of a mixed bag.

Flavour wise the cakes tasted a bit artificial almost, it was a similar complaint with the normal Bertha but I attributed it to it being so chocolatey before, whereas now I wonder if there is anything added that's a bit artificial (whether that's margarine instead of butter, poor quality chocolate used etc. the icing definitely appeared similar to when I sometimes cheap out on chocolate when making a ganache)

The cake was also not consistent with its level of dryness. My husband and I tackled it starting at different ends, I went from the top and he started with the bottom layers. He moaned about his being dry, I thought he was being dramatic until I stole some of his half this morning and the cakes were dry. Significantly so, the bottom 5 ish layers were really dry and the rest were pretty moist.

I am giving this 3 stars as we have a policy of we don't waste calories, and we have decided this is good enough to keep eating, but we also won't be ordering another one. Worth it to take a picture and to give it a go, but I wouldn't expect the most delicious tasting cake.

Get it for the novelty and the size, if you want a nice large slice of chocolate cake however there are plenty of better options (for example, the Harrods chocolate cakes in their food hall, massive slices and only £6, might even be the same price to get a train ticket to London and to buy that vs the Bertha)

I’ve had the Bertha cake before and enjoyed it and decided to order a box of mixed cookies - such a disappointment.
With the exception of the triple chocolate cookie all the flavours were overly sweet and had a strong bicarb/baking powder aftertaste.
All the cookies available from supermarket bakeries are better than these and if you want a special treat there are much better mail order options than Get Baked (most with lower delivery charges).

Great cakes, quick delivery

I’ve been looking to buy a slice for ages after the viral hype of the company. I bought it for a special occasion to celebrate and was really excited to try it.

I ordered the Bertha slice, it arrived on time, was well packaged and the filling tasted good on its own. But the cake was so dry it ruined the entire thing. I’m so disappointed.
