I ordered a dress from this company. It was for a special event and quite expensive. It took absolutely weeks and missed the event . The dress was indicated from a UK base.
When it did arrive, it was too large and so I tried to start the refund process. After sometime I got a response which said that I would have to return the dress of my own cost to somewhere in Malaysia but if I wanted to, I could keep it or donate to a charity.
They offered me a 5% refund to which I responded was inadequate and insulting given how long I had waited for the dress and for them to respond to my enquiries.

In the end they agreed to give me a 10% refund but that was at the beginning of August. I am still waiting for it. They tell me that it was credited to my account on 18th August. Its now fifth September and I still don’t have it and the people telling me to be “patient” because it usually takes 10 days and of course it’s far beyond the 10 day period.
They do respond to emails promptly but seem unable to resolve .

There was nothing the matter with the quality of the dress (it was just too big for me ) but they really really really don’t want to refund money and use every excuse not to do so. I would avoid them all costs.

This website is a scam! The dresses don’t look the same as the website! I bought one and it was awful! Absolutely surreal! Then I had to return it to china and it cost me £26, and they said I had to pay taxes in china so they could collect it. So I can’t get my money back. So spent £49.50 on a rubbish dress, then spent £25 to return and still did not get my refund! Stay away from this company

My wife bought a cardigan from this site - terrible quality and ill-fitting. She would have felt ripped-off at a tenth of the price. The delivery was slow and the returns process non-existent (Chinese warehouse which then doesn't process the refund). It's a shame that the only recourse seems to be to provide an honest review in the hope that people might avoid ending up in the same situation as you.
AVOID THIS WEBSITE - the product you receive will look nothing like what's promoted and you will lose your money.

Stay clear! this company is not based in the UK. The dresses are sent from China, emails are auto-generated, no numbers to call. I bought three dresses without knowing they would be sent from China. They arrived a month later, looked nothing like the pictures. When I asked to return them, I was offered a 20% refund. Instead, I sent them back - at my cost - and the parcel still appears to be stuck at customs... no response to my emails.

Do not buy anything from this website! UK based company but you need to return the items to Asia on your cost!!

Avoid at all costs unless you want to be scammed. Ordered two dresses, one arrived which was piece of s**t sewn together and bore no resemblance to the one photographed. I cancelled the other dress which was in fact out of stock but showing on their website.
Still waiting for a refund 2 months later.

Omg the most distrusting service and product , the dress wasn’t even suitable to give to Charity shop!

Unfortunately, very poor customer service and quality of response. Waited for over two months for a dress that never arrived and refund promises that have not happened to-date (this is 3 months later!) despite various reminders. Very displeased and would warn against ordering from them.

Same experience as other customers - purchased 3 dresses for a wedding, hoping to keep one. Quality wasn’t great. Attempted to return items and was disappointed to discover UK warehouse closed ! Despite referring to being UK based company on their website - see under FAQ section. Also misleading as company is called Alba Muse London and email domain UK.

However the return policy indicates company based in Asia and customer has to pay for returns. No return label provided (despite stating this is an option) and the costs and risks associated with returning to China are not something I wanted to do ! The address provided was a generic warehouse address. Challenged this and offered a partial refund. Wrote numerous complaints but did not resolve the issue and didn’t see a way forward to obtain £149 refund.

The coat I ordered arrived quickly but the fabric felt very cheap.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I bought a dress for an event, it took weeks to come, well past the event and the quality of the material was disgusting. I raised a return and it took weeks for them to provide an address to return it to and when they did it turns out the address does not exist so the Post Office cannot return it. I am now left am having to raise a scam with my bank to have my £50 returned!

I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering.

I found Alba Muse through a Google search for wedding guest dresses. It appeared to be a UK company with a .co.uk website, so I ordered three dresses (£152.80) intending to keep one and return the others.

The dresses took around three weeks to arrive, which straight away made me suspect a non-UK company.
The dresses themselves weren’t brilliant quality but were mostly as described (hence giving them 2 stars, although their dishonesty doesn’t deserve it!). However, they arrived far too late so needed to be returned. When I came to return them, I discovered you have to email customer service to start the process. I was then told that the only way to get a full refund was to send the dresses to their warehouse in China at my own expense.

Still, their website and marketing emails advertise "30-day returns", "Risk-Free Returns – 30 days to decide. No questions, no fuss", and even "No forms, no awkward emails." Which is just not true. The whole returns policy on their website is completely dishonest.

Instead of offering a straightforward return, I was repeatedly offered increasing partial refunds (5%, then 15%, then 20%) if I kept the dresses.

My advice is simple: if you're ordering expecting an easy UK-style returns process, read the returns policy very carefully before you buy.

FRAUDULENT **FRAUD** WEBSITE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE BASED IN CHINA, AND TO RETURN WILL COST YOU £35.00. Do not buy, and their customer service, Jess, will say you were not forced to buy from them. They are not based in the UK as described. I have reported them and will keep reporting them.

Customer service took days to reply to my emails.

I ordered 3 items, including 2 dresses in different sizes…
Although they didn’t look like the picture and definitely not satin as stated I really liked the dress and one fitted me perfectly so decided to keep and send the other items back.
This is when I found out that they weren’t based in the UK or even Europe… they’re based in China or at least their returns warehouse is.
I was told that they would kindly offer me a 5% refund of the total order.. that was little more than £5… and that I get to keep the rest of the order to gift sell whatever….
My returns value should have been in the £70 region.
To return to China it would cost me £20 and would probably go over their 30 days returns policy as would be held in customs for ages!
I decided to keep the items and will list them on Vinted or something to see if I can get at least some of my money back 🤬🤬🤬
Not really happy … avoid them like the plague….lesson learned … stick with what you know!

Appalling service. They trick you into thinking they are UK based.
Their returns policy is a lie.
Would never recommend or use again.

Return process took weeks and cost me extra postage.

Avoid this company who I now know drop ship from china and have no presence in the UK. They could not fulfill my order and refused to refund me.

I would give it 0 stars if I could.

The dresses took 4 weeks to arrive.
Went to process the refund which took another 4 weeks of no response.
After which i had to contact and ask for a resolution.
They offered me 5% refund on a £150+ order.

The clothes when did arrive were poor quality

The customer service email is slow and only once chased down they respond

Please be wary of using this company. My dress arrived after three weeks. It was actually very nice BUT at least two sizes too small despite the fact that I had checked their size guide with my measurements.
When I tried to return the item, they thanked me ‘for reaching out’ but said the return address was no longer in Swindon but in China so they would save me the ‘time and expense’ of returning by refunding 10% of the cost of the dress!
I have managed to increase the refund to 20% but am pretty shocked by that level of poor customer service.
I’m just very relieved that I only ordered the one item.
