I went to Amscot to exchange currency…
I went to Amscot to exchange currency and the teller was extremely rude from the start. They offered me a terrible exchange rate. When I pointed out that Western Union had a better rate and asked them to match it, the teller flat-out refused and became even more unpleasant.
I then called customer service to complain, and the agent was somehow worse than the teller. Completely unhelpful, defensive, and rude.
Between the dishonest rates and the terrible attitude from both the teller and customer service, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I will not be using Amscot again and strongly recommend others avoid them.
