Hotel was well worth the money 10 minute walk from the main strip and the beach plenty of things to do you could get a bus just outside of the hotel to a number of different places a number of different excursions available but a bit expensive food and drinks cheap enough in the right places 😀 brilliant holiday

I’ve never written a review like this before, but our experience with On the Beach and the accommodation they provided in Mallorca has been genuinely alarming.

Safety issues: there is no fire extinguisher, no fire blanket, no first‑aid kit, no emergency contact numbers, and the smoke detector showed no solid LED light — suggesting it isn’t even functioning. These are not minor oversights; they are breaches of Balearic tourism safety regulations and UK Package Travel Regulations 2018, which require organisers like On the Beach to ensure accommodation is safe and legally compliant.

When we called On the Beach to report this, they admitted the fire‑safety concerns were serious but said they couldn’t move us until they’d “followed due process” — which apparently meant waiting for their WhatsApp team to reopen the next day. In other words, they refused to act on a safety issue because their messaging channel had closed at 4 pm.

This is not “due process”, This is negligence.

The property even displays a “Compromiso de Calidad Turística” plaque valid until 2025 — a supposed quality‑assurance certification — yet it fails to meet the most basic safety and hygiene standards.

We’ve since decided to escalate this to the Consell de Mallorca Tourism Inspectorate and ABTA, because On the Beach’s handling of this situation has been unacceptable.

If you value your safety, think carefully about booking with On the Beach. Their customer‑service scripts may sound polite, but when something genuinely serious happens, they hide behind process instead of protecting their customers.

I chose to fly from Liverpool and then selected the flight times that seemed suitable....
Completed my booking and then realised that we were being sent to Manchester on the journey home???
Why send someone to a different airport when they have chosen to fly and should be returned to their selected airport!!

I recently booked a holiday through on the beach. Having read the reviews on the hotel it made me extremely concerned to stay there. Several different people getting sick and also several different people getting their property stolen from their room. I went on to change my hotel to another hotel which was only £150 per person difference in price. This would equate to £600 in total plus admin fee of £120 which I accept. However when I try to proceed it is trying to charge me double that amount £1354. Yet if I try to book the new hotel through the same site, same flights etc. the cost is only £276 different. You can’t call and speak to anyone, the online chat bot is useless and no response to emails. Will NOT be using on the beach again. Very disappointing and now extremely worried for our holiday rather than being excited about it. Completely ruined.

Give an honest star rating to the hotel. The Eftalia ocean in turkey was terrible. Completely not as described

Checking in.. was difficult there was know one there, we called them an they stated they was short staff so we had to go over to the sister hotel, very Inconvenient as we had to relugg our luggage an it was late.

The cleaners cleaned regular but kept turning off the electric, so our food kepted going bad, on top of that we had a powercut via the hotels request and wasn't informed an when asked questions the lady on the desk was extremely rude. (Ginger skinny lady) The pool is tiny, they play the same repeated music at the pool which became annoying after 2hours. The life guide an cafe owner seem to get a kick out of bullying people around the pool, The rules at the pool are disgusting no drinking your own drinks or food no floaties or balls, no vaping or smoking. And if you are wet your not allowed to sit on the chairs where the cafe is or recive abuse. Near the pool the cafe that your ONLY allowed to eat or drink at or smoke, they was temperamental people who owned it, one day happy next day angry.
The hotel itself is beautiful with beautiful veiws, and apartments there is a steep heel an steps to shops bars and restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the beach. Becareful getting back up after acouple of drinks. There is 1 hour spa use everyday if you book in but no one tells you this as the customer service is rubbish at this hotel. The beach was beautiful beds was cheap and spent most of my days there. Anything to avoid the dreaded pool area.

Found the booking of my holiday easy enough but as for the rest of it I have found it very hard to find where I need to put my API which I am still struggling with. I asked on the chat and just kept getting the same reply

Hotel was shocking-old and filthy, cockroaches were running everywhere, food was boring . Unable to contact On the beach, tried email and WhatsApp, automated replies .Waste of time.

Excellent value and a smooth holiday from start to finish
We booked our holiday through On the Beach and were very impressed with the overall experience.
The package was £300 cheaper than Jet2, while also including better flight times and a private transfer, so it offered excellent value for money.
Everything ran smoothly from booking through to arrival and our return journey. We had no issues at all and did not need to contact customer support while we were away, as everything was clear and well organised.
The private transfer was particularly useful for our family, making the journey to and from the hotel much easier.
Overall, we had a stress free experience with On the Beach and would happily book with them again

Unfortunately we had a bad start was delayed at Southampton airport for 5 hrs so were unable to get our transfer to KAKTUS we had to pay £114 for taxi
As it was so late after 12 as we are 80 years old we found it hard hope to get compensated

Quick speed is importance and price

Hotel was good lots to see food a drink spot on .
Only one thing spoiled the holiday our taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel did not wait for us because we we’re stuck in the passport control queue for 3HOURS so when I came out the taxi had gone rang the company to ask would you send me another taxi there said NO so I had to pay for another taxi it cost 150 zloti …£30 this was a disgrace it not our fault that the passport control queue was so slow this was unforeseen that I would miss my taxi so can have a refund of £30 please thank you

Excellent hotel, spotless from day one, amazing food although it could have been warmer, buts that’s to be expected on the continent. We used Sunshine transfers, never again. Both drivers were so rude, we normally tip but not on either occasion this time. We had a fantastic week and I would go again in a heartbeat

I am booking through onthebeach for many years and never had any issues. Always best service.

Very easy to use the app.
The only thing I would say is i needed to talk to someone before I went on holiday and that bit was quite difficult as that ai chat was not good enough and I needed to actually speak to a human.

I've been trying to get a refund for over 5 days now my flights been cancelled 5 months in advance and they won't respond to me I'm awaiting an email.. Nothing yet and they are still taking money from my card you need to do better as I'm far from hacked off.
