What a wonderful tool! I used the free version for about an hour before subscribing.

It's so easy to understand, but I am an IT professional, I think it's a must tool for everyone.

ZERO Support even if you are a PAID SUBSCRIBER, they have many major bugs and refuse to acknowledge every paid subscriber problem very unacceptable.. do you want to trust those kind of people for your DNS? GO DIE NextDNS.

installed their dns software and followed the instructions for chrome but it refused to work until about an hour of troubleshooting later. it would still work when disabled and gave me some internet issues. just too much of a hassle and very disappointing because they have a lot of nice free features.

I have used NextDNS for about 2 months now on my iPad and my iPhone. It has worked perfectly with no flaws at all! The reason I installed NextDNS on my devices is because I wanted a simple and easy way to block ads on any website, and NextDNS does that while also securing my data!

Stole my money, refused to acknowledge a major bug in their payment system and ignored me for pointing it out.

Paid money for a year of pro subscription but a bug caused an incorrect period to be set for the subscription leaving me on the free tier after being charged.

Made a post in their forum only for it to be ignored for 11 days. My 3 emails were also ignored. If you want to find the forum post, look up "Pro plan activated with incorrect period. Doesn't work"

Es simplemente perfecto, cuenta con sistemas muy avanzados y ejemplares para el control de DNS cuenta con muchisimas funciones (dadas gratuitamente sin pagar) y en la mayoria de los casos no se requiere pagar.

Es de los mejores servicios que he probado para gestion y configuracion de DNS gratis que permite multiples capas de personalizacion, filtrar, bloquear, cambiar dominios por otros, bloquear malware con IA y muchos controles parentales.

De los mejores que existen.

Ignores the bad reviews here - I don't know what they are thinking. The web site is clean and fast, clear setup instructions and an app that's small and works a treat to control an iPhone - which is no easy task.

I sought an alternative to ad-blocking applications that would effectively block ads across online platforms and mobile applications, while seamlessly integrating with my existing VPN (Samsung Secure Wifi). After an extensive search, I discovered NextDNS. Initially skeptical, given a prior unsuccessful experience with a private DNS server that completely disrupted my internet connectivity, I was pleasantly surprised by NextDNS's flawless and consistent performance. It unequivocally earns a five-star rating. Furthermore, I appreciate the enhanced privacy features offered within the NextDNS application. Excellent work, NextDNS.

I've been using the service for several months, and overall, I'm very satisfied. Their server network is fast, I don't notice any speed differences compared to my ISP's DNS. It's like "set up and forget". Ads are successfully blocked, and they support many lists like EasyList, OISD, and others.

DNS lookup is very quick (especially recently with their updated network config), but has fallen way behind Control D in development. Not able to sort deny/allow lists alphabetically, upload/download them, etc. Control D has surpassed it. Seems the NextDNS developers have abandoned NextDNS to develop their EU service.

It works really well! Have been their paying customer for one year. Have it on all my devices and also on home router. Protects all family devices and also wifi guests at my home.

I used this service for quite a while before maybe 3 years. It was great back then (5 stars) but all development has stopped since then. Developers appear to have abounded the project. I start using Control D about a year ago and was "dual driving" both and recently switched completely to Control D.

If you want a simple solution nextdns is still good but for any advanced use case or if you need support i would not recommend it.

Horrible scam company. They fraudulatnely charged me months after I closed my account with them. I tried to get in contact with them tpo notify them of the sittuation, and they do not provide any way to get in contact with them. The only way to contact them (after hours of digging through other sites, like Reddit), is through email, which they do not respond to. I have requested they return the funds and close my account, with no responce despite several emails sent. THEY ARE A SCAM, STAY AWAY!!

Really good service. I tried a few different ones. Even though this one doesn't feel the most privacy respecting, because they ask too much of your data for you to be able to stay anonymous. Also it's not clear to me what and how they are logging. The service itself works really great, fast, lots of good features. Really recommended service, also the price is really fair.

NextDNS does exactly as advertised. They don't add many (any?) new features, it just runs. It's a good service you can rely on.

You can also rely on never ever getting an answer from customer support. Even requests regarding billing of your paid subscription will go unanswered forever. You can use their service but don't expect any support.

Again, this works like a charm, they let you pick lots of options on what you'd like to get protected from, such as: "Threat Intelligence Feeds", "AI-Driven Threat Detection" and "Cryptojacking Protection".

They also have alot of blocklists, which get updated daily, if not hourly. You can also protect yourself from Native Trackers, such as Windows, Apple's and Samsungs.

Parental control also works perfectly, you can block centrain websites, or block off a specific part of the internet (Porn, Dating, Gambling), and they give you an option to Block any bypass methods, so you cannot get around these rules with a VPN for example.

While it is an USA based coorp, they let you either disable logs, or store them in: USA, UK, EU, SWISS.

The service they provide is not even that expensive, you get 300k requests a month for free, and can upgrade to Pro (2€) with unlimited servers and requests.

Good internet filter, but some filter lists are too restrictive and there are false positives in them.

I also had some trouble with the Windows service.
