We spent a wonderful week at Villa Moana , thanks to the excellent service of Collectionist. All the attractions organized for us , our children and our grandchildren ,especially , Truffle Hunting , were very enjoyable. Thank you a lot .

Concernant le service conciergerie, mention spéciales à Léonie qui s'est toujours rendue disponible et a su répondre à nos demandes du mieux qu'elle pouvait tout ensachant que la période estivale n'est pas toujours facile pour les réservations de matelas ou restaurants à la plage.

Amazing people working in le COLLECTIONIST. Amazing Enzo at the check in. Everything very smooth.

The house itself was very nice, though the location wasn't ideal (since it was quite far from the ocean) and the cleaning was a bit sloppy.

But don't deal with Le Collectionist: We returned the house in really great condition. When we checked out, the lady from Le Collectionist inspected every room and confirmed that there were no issues.

Five days later, we received an email from Le Collectionist claiming that we had allegedly damaged the bathtub faucet (even though we hadn’t used the bathtub at all), that there was a stain in the bathroom, and that the lock wasn’t working—we are absolutely sure that we did not cause these damages. Le Collectionist also did not send us any evidence of this—so we suspect that these issues never actually existed.

Because of these—presumably merely alleged—defects, Le Collectionist withdrew the EUR 5,000 deposit from our account and only after we sent a attorney-letter Le Collectionist transfered the EUR 5,000 back to us. Our research has shown that this is apparently not the first time this has happened.

So stay away from Le Collectionist—find another (serious) broker.

The pre arrival exchanges with Stergios were incredibly helpful and efficient. The villa was outstanding in every respect and exceeding our expectations. The chefs Nikos and Eli were just brilliant. The hit and miss lack of apparent control on site was dealt with by side stepping Sophie (who was I believe a sub contractor to Collectionist) and getting Stergios focussing and delivering information daily, which he did very well.

A wonderful family holiday in an amazing location

We had a wonderful stay at this villa and would happily recommend it.

The location is probably its greatest advantage. There is direct access from the villa to a beautiful, almost private beach. There are around 60 steps down to the sea, but for us this certainly didn’t stop us from going down several times a day and coming back up to enjoy the pool. Having kayaks and SUP boards available was also a great addition.

One small suggestion that would make the beach experience even better would be to provide a few comfortable beach chairs or loungers and perhaps some basic beach equipment, so guests can spend longer periods comfortably by the water.

We stayed as a large family group of 12, including children, grandchildren and a baby, and the villa worked extremely well for us. It is modern, very well equipped, with an excellent fully equipped kitchen, very good air conditioning and comfortable bedrooms.

One thing future guests should be aware of is the number of stairs. Getting from the parking area to the villa involves stairs, the house itself is arranged over three levels, and there are additional stairs down to the beach. For anyone with mobility difficulties or who simply doesn’t like stairs, this may not be the ideal property. For us, however, it was not a problem.

Angie was excellent throughout our stay — helpful, responsive and professional. We also added housekeeping during our stay, which was absolutely worth it. The rooms were cleaned and arranged to a very high standard, almost like being in a hotel.

We rented a catamaran for a full day, which was one of the highlights of our holiday and something we would definitely recommend. For anyone who enjoys karting, there is also a very good track about 25 minutes away, which was great fun for the family.

One important constructive comment: better lighting is definitely needed along the stairs and path leading down to the villa. After dark, this area is too poorly lit and additional lighting would make access much safer and more comfortable.

Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday. The villa is beautiful, comfortable and extremely well equipped, but above all, the direct access to that wonderful sea and beach makes the location very special.

We are already looking forward to our next holiday with Le Collectionist. We are very happy that we chose them and would gladly travel with them again.

Wonderful house! We absolutely loved staying at Villa Medusa. It accommodated our group of 10 perfectly; the house is spacious and beautifully designed. Le Collectionist made our stay really seamless and we booked things like a private chef dinner and massages through them. I highly recommend staying here. We also met the villa owner and you can tell she really cared about our stay and comfort, she was lovely.

The experience was good but I really think that the price of the house is way too high in this case. The accommodation and location was very good but I will not pay the same amount for it. It is extraordinarily expensive and I think that it is not worth it.
On the other side the cleaning service was not good for that standard, the girls came 30 minutes and made superficial cleaning. The fridges were not cooling enough and the owner had to change them.

Le Collectionist was responsive to all our questions and requests. Julie and Sofia were both terrific. Property required some upkeep and was not appropriately equipped for our stay (ie. soap, dish detergent, paper towels etc.). For a luxury rental those things should be implied.
