I bought the Dead by Daylight Halloween DLC but didn't claim it before the website shut down; I wrote to support, and they haven't replied in exactly 18 days.

I can see that people are complaining and leaving negative reviews saying that the support does not respond and they've lost their keys so I got a bit worried as well as I bought a couple of keys a year ago that I have not event displayed yet (there were just sittings in my orders).
So it happened that I wanted to use them now and noticed that the site is down so I contacted the support and they have responded and sent me my keys which I was able to redeem!
This is amazing and I can't wait for the store to be back on line.
Possibly people just need a bit more patience before leaving the reviews or possibly they were unavailable for some reason - I got response and my keys in 12 days (after contacting the support).
Hopefully people who already left negative feedback already will also get/got their keys now and will revise their feedback (which from my perspective seems unfair).

I have not heard back from support since January until I got an email in February stating there would be a relaunch of the site. I can't access my orders and claim keys I bought, it would have been nice to know the site was going down so I could have at least gotten my games.

Edit/update: I recieved my games after another email.

SOLUTION:
After about 5 days of no contact, Customer support reached out to me and ensured me that my order was still intact during the process of rebuilding of their site. They gave me a 20 dollar coupon for the inconvenience, and apologized profusely. I couldn't be more satisfied despite the previous disappointment.

Problem (fixed, but ill keep it up for reference):
Ive been a customer of gamerthor for about two years &have generally had good experiences. I even had a previous issue that support handled quickly &professionally.

However, in november I, along with others (reviews below mine) pre purchased Resident Evil 9 (RE:requiem) to avoid paying for it later. With the site now completely shut down for weeks & no communication from customer service, I’m left with no access to my purchase & WORSE - no explanation or communication.

With the release date approaching (Feb/27/26), I’m now forced to repurchase the game elsewhere... basically paying double.

I understand this may be a small team, but a full shutdown without communication, especially during a major release, is extremely heartbreaking.

I would gladly update or remove this review if the situation is resolved, but at the moment I’m out $56 and potentially another $60-70 to rebuy the game.

TL;DR: Rough experience, but I appreciate how it was eventually handled.

I had pre-ordered Resident Evil 9 from them but because I saw they started restructuring their site, I wanted to make sure my order was still locked in so I emailed them.

They didn't respond for 2 and a half weeks. During that time, I was concerned I was going to have to buy the game again from another site and may lose the money I gave GamerThor on top of it.

When they responded they apologized, assured me the game would come on time, and offered me a free game under 20 euro to hopefully make things right. They assured me the copy of the game would come in time for the release date.

If you're reading this after 2/26/26... they sent it to me on time.

Bought a dead by daylight DLC a while back, but didn't redeem it or write anywhere down the code(my mistake i know) and 3 days ago i decided to grab the code as i started playing the game again and would've loved to use lara croft, but was greeted by: ''Coming soon, gamethor is being rebuilt'', they added a support email which i emailed, but still no response, disappointing.

Had some issues but the communication was very good and everything was solved.

Bought DBH for like 80 percent off on here and it was really easy even though i live in canada and this site is german. You can just set your country and it immediately only shows games available in YOUR country and the price in YOUR currency.

I love this site and I order from them often, but this time I think I’ve been a victim of a phishing attack that took $95 from me. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO BE ON ****://checkout.eu-stripe.c*m/c/pay/ or ****://stripe-processing.t*p/c/pay/. This situation is stressing me out a lot because now someone might have all of my personals informations :((((("

Alles gut soweit. Der Preis war günstig, den Key gab's sofort, keine Schwierigkeiten bei der Einlösung selbst. Nur einen Direktlink zur Einlösung habe ich vermisst. Aber mit Copy and Paste war das dann letztlich auch kein Problem. Dennoch, mit Direktlink wäre es noch besser.
