Unbelievable experience with Better, and specifically Jamie and Amanda. Kept informed at every step and the most stress free part of the whole buying phase. Jamie even went back and got me a better deal before completion. I genuinely could not recommend enough, such a minefield out there but absolutely no complications and no issues with Better.

Better take all the stress of finding the right mortgage out of your hands. I’ve used them many times in the past and will be using them again in the future. Highly recommend!

It was so easy to renew our mortgage. They offered us a rate with our current provider which i could not acess. Ive used other mortgage brokers who gave me rates i could get off any comparison websites. Thanks to ellie and jaivik. Will be coming back in another 5 years time haha.

I was transferred to better.co.uk from the Lending Expert. Promised everything would be done online and some of the best rates on the market, as they have access to whole of market.

The agent, ignored what I wanted. Put through a loan that was £10k more than I applied for and sent it to the lender that gave them the most commission.

Be careful with this company, they will get you into real debt if you do not pay attention.

All information about each policy was explained in great detail and I was able to ask questions when I wasn’t sure . I was very happy with the service provided.

This is the second time Ive gone through Better to renew my mortgage. It is just much easier than organising yourself and doesn't cost extra. Ive deducted a star as I had to call the mortgage company myself to make sure it was live.

Formal Complaint Raised – Very Disappointing Experience

I have submitted an official complaint regarding Better Homes and one of their brokers due to what I consider to be a highly unprofessional service.

Unfortunately, throughout the process, it felt as though we were having to do much of the broker's work ourselves. Communication was poor, and we were repeatedly told that funds would be released "today" or "tomorrow," only for those promises not to materialise. These repeated assurances turned out to be inaccurate and caused significant inconvenience and unnecessary stress for our family.

What is most concerning is that, due to what appears to have been a lack of knowledge and guidance from the broker regarding documentation relating to my husband's self-employment, we were advised that lenders required certain documents. As a result of the way this was handled, we have now been left facing an unexpected debt of over £2,700 within my husband's company.

We trusted the advice we were given and have been left financially disadvantaged because of it. The overall experience has been frustrating, stressful, and far below the standard of service we expected.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend Better Homes. Professional knowledge, accurate communication, and reliable service are essential when dealing with important financial and property matters, and unfortunately, we did not receive that.

Looked at One Dome - and their first page of their web site looks good - single place for eveything....

...eventually found their Terms and Conditions - and they pass on your details to Mortgage Advice Bureau - a totally seperate firm.

So - it's not all in one place. Why do they lie?

Great servise. Quick kon. Saved on the mortgage payment.
