I recently travelled for gastric bypass surgery with Alika Health Group, and my experience was excellent from beginning to end.

Everything was organized clearly and carried out according to schedule. I was collected and transported by VIP transfer throughout my stay, which removed a lot of the stress involved in travelling abroad for surgery.

I spent three nights in the hospital, followed by one night in a four-star hotel before being collected and taken back to the airport. At every stage, I felt well cared for and knew what was happening next.

I would especially like to thank Dr Salim and his dedicated team of assistants, nurses and medical professionals. They were professional, attentive and reassuring, and they treated me with kindness and respect throughout my hospital stay.

What has impressed me most is that the care did not simply end when I left the hospital. I was given clear plans and instructions to follow during my recovery, and I continue to receive support from the team. That ongoing guidance has given me confidence that I made the right decision in choosing Alika Health Group.

I stayed in Kızılay Hospital for 3 nights and then I was discharged and they transfered me to a 5-Star Hotel.
The all-inclusive package cost was very reasonable comparing to the cost in the UK.
Today after a month of the operation I lost approximately 9 kg and I feel so much healthier already and can honestly say you couldn't find anyone more helpful and caring than them. We wouldn't get that in the UK..

I came from London for my gastric balloon to be put in here. Ali, my agent did everything, from the appointment, to the transfers and the hotel. He is really polite, warm, helpful and replies quickly. From the very beginning, with their comprehensive medical evaluation, they truly make you feel that this is a personalized treatment. The endoscopic gastric balloon surgery was fast (about 10 minutes) and all the hospital workers were easy to work with, kind and transparent. The balloon will be discomforting at first but will settle in and will perform its work by occupying space in your stomach so you physically cannot eat as much before. After a few weeks it is still vital to have a healthy diet and exercise to get the best out of this. In this 6 months really attempt and modify your bad eating habits or the weight would simply just back after and this investment would be useless. Aside from that It was really a 10/10 experience and I would strongly recommend the clinic. I wish good luck who thinking about getting gastric balloon in Turkey and without any hesitation definitely go with Alika Health Group.❤️❤️❤️

Since my gastric bypass surgery on January 4, 2026, my life has undergone a major transformation. I was overweight and sad. Honest feedback from my gastric sleeve after 8 months! I definitely suggest Alika Health Group if you're looking for the best location to have your gastric sleeve done!
They messaged me a comprehensive medical assessment form to fill out following our initial discussion, which covered my medical history, prescription drugs, past illnesses, and general health.
Surgeons individually examined all of my information and assessed whether or not I was truly a good candidate for bariatric surgery.He reviewed my form, determined which treatment would be best for me, and gave me the green light for gastric sleeve surgery.
After everything was verified, they helped me book my plane ticket and answered all of my questions before to my trip to Turkey.

From the second my wife and I arrived to Istanbul we were completely taken care of.

The surgeon took time to see me both pre and post operation and he is so friendly and caring.

Following the procedure, the medical staff cleaned and checked my wounds, gave pain medicine, did a leak test, and recommended walking and drinking lots of water. For a year, I also received aftercare that included medication, vitamins, protein shakes, medical guidance, a food plan, and dietician support and regular online followups with my surgeon.

In short from the beginning to the end everything was impeccable, wonderful staff, amazing hotel, supplements and great aftercare after returning back to UK.

In my opinion, Alika Health Group is the best in Turkey for weight loss.In August, I underwent VSG surgery at Alika Health Group. I had an amazing experience from the beginning. Communication was great and very swift. Everything went straight forward without a hitch. I got my surgery date and booked my flight from the UK to Turkey. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the private transfer chauffeur and taken to the hospital. The hospital was very clean and my suit was very comfortable. The hospitals staff are very friendly and welcoming. On the day of my operation, I was relieved that all of the necessary in depth examinations had been completed.

My surgery went very well and I felt well cared for, I didn't have any concerns or second thoughts. Aftercare was also very good I had no complaints.After returning to the UK, you can message the team and get rapid responses to any questions you may have.

I am now 9 months post op and it is the best decision I’ve made in my entire life and I am incredibly grateful for this experience and I can't express how deeply appreciative I feel. Since then I have lost a total of 110lbs/50kg’s and my life is forever changed. I recommended so many people to the clinic. I’m giving 5 star to Alika Health Group even without a second thought.

Everyone is incredibly warm, understanding, encouraging, transparent, and ready to assist. Everything was discussed in detail during my stay, and Dr. Salim, nurses, dieticians and the medical staff met with my sister and me on a regular basis to go over everything we needed to know and to discuss any worries or questions we had. The staff are all very nice but there is a small language barrier which is to be expected. If you had any questions, you could message your coordinator or whatsapp group and someone would come for help. 

There are not enough words to describe our gratitude to Dr. Salim for giving my sister and myself the opportunity to start over. We are incredibly thankful to have met you ,you are really wonderful.

The dietitians were all really helpful; they went over everything we needed to do before and after surgery, including what medications we needed to take. They were all professional, attentive, and informative, in my opinion. They were ready to explain whatever we didn't understand. 

Both the hotel and the hospital were clean and beautiful.

I was recommended Alika Health Group by my coworker who had gastric sleeve in Istanbul,Turkey and gone to this clinic three months prior to me. He lost about 27kg in 3 months and looked healthier, energetic and happier so his results made ‘’me think this could be me too’’ and that’s gave me confidence to go ahead with my surgery with them.

At first they sent me a comprehensive medical form so that they could make an informed and responsible decision about my surgery and case.

They helped me arrange the flights and gave me a surgery date. Everything went so smoothly: the hospital and hotel were arranged, the driver got me up just where he told me, and the trip from IST airport to the hospital took only 25 minutes.. The hospital suit  was beautiful, and the hospital itself was perfect. Nothing is an issue; staff are happy to assist with things like WiFi or additional blankets. 

Throughout my entire stay in Turkey, both in the hotel and the hospital, I felt incredibly cared for and supported. The dietician sessions were very helpful and informative as you move forward with your new life.

Before traveling I was communicating with Ali, at anytime he replied, normally within minutes to answer any questions I had. At the moment my wife and I landed in Istanbul we were completely taken care of. 
I underwent my operation after extensive pre op examinations, and everything went quite well. They also sent me home with my supplements and diet plan so I knew exactly what to do for recovery. I'm still in contact with Dr Salim, the Alika team, and Dietitian Ceren, and they check in with me on a regular basis, which is really helpful and makes my recuperation lot simpler.

I traveled to Turkey from the UK to have a gastric balloon inserted. I was nervous at first but thanks to the professional team, Dr.Salim, and service at Alika Health Group I felt very safe and comfortable.

On the recommendation of a close friend I had a 6 month gastric balloon done at Alika Health Group. The procedure took less than half an hour and I didnt experience any pain afterward. On the recommendation of a friend who had previously undergone gastric bypass surgery here(at Alika Health Group) in Turkey I traveled from UK and had gastric sleeve surgery at the Alika. My surgery and recovery went smoothly. They handled the entire process at the airport hospital and hotel. Before I returned home they gave me protein powder and supplements. And after I returned the support from the dietitian and followup care continued. Its now the fourth month since the surgery and by following my dietitians guidelines I have lost about 65lbs.
