We hosted our 5th annual Only on Uber event, live from Miami! Drivers and couriers joined us in person to hear how we’re evolving the experience of earning on Uber. I had the opportunity to share the amazing work our teams have done around the moments that matter most to drivers, like planning the day and tracking earnings. We’ve also worked on making the experience even easier and safer, so that drivers can stay focused on the road. I'm especially proud that all 40 products and improvements we announced — including voice assistant, real-time pay explainers, and enhanced support — came directly from listening to our users and acting on their feedback. A huge thank-you to the engineering teams who worked hard to bring these features to life and to every driver and courier who continues to shape the future of Uber. It was a pleasure sharing the stage with this incredible Uber leadership team: Dara Khosrowshahi, Sachin Kansal, Jairam Ranganathan, Joanne Smith, George Gordon. The people who use Uber every day should have a hand in shaping what we build next. That’s the idea behind Only on Uber, our annual event dedicated to drivers and couriers. This year in Miami, we unveiled our largest roadmap yet, with over 40 of new products and features shaped directly by feedback from drivers and couriers, including members of Uber Crew, who work closely with our teams throughout the year. The updates focus on what they’ve told us matters most: making every rider and delivery easier, bringing more transparency and fairness in earnings, creating more ways to earn and be rewarded, and helping people feel safer on the road. From an AI-powered home summary and a new voice assistant, to tip protection, additional pay for delays, new ways to earn between trips, and stronger safety tools — each update started with listening. Had the best afternoon with our Seniors Class of 2026 🎓, celebrating the expansion of our products for older adults! We introduced a new option allowing older adults to set up and manage their Uber senior account independently, and announced extra features such as Easy Entrance Vehicles and Pickup Preferences - screenshots below. This is in addition to existing offerings such as Simple Mode, phone bookings (1833-USE-UBER in the US), and the ability to connect accounts with family organizers and caregivers for additional support. Today, I visited the Uber offices in Downtown Miami to participate in a Women's Safety Roundtable discussion led by Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi and Uber's Women’s Safety Policy leadership. As a female who is blind, I never worry about my safety on Uber trips, and I applaud Uber leadership on their dedication to the safety of women riders, and their “Global” model of excellence with in-app safety assurances for women. It was a pleasure to join a roundtable with women leaders from across our community and Dara Khosrowshahi, the CEO of Uber, to talk about something that matters to all of us: women's safety. We had a thoughtful conversation about the steps we can take to make getting around our city safer and the new features Uber is exploring to help protect women while they travel. Keeping women safe takes all of us working together, and I'm grateful for conversations like this that bring leaders and partners to the table to listen, share ideas, and find ways to make our community safer for everyone.
