Absolutely unacceptable experience with LiveFootballTickets.

I purchased tickets for FC Barcelona vs Feyenoord for myself and my son. We are Dutch nationals, but we live in Spain, my children go to school in Spain, and we love FC Barcelona. I even provided proof of our Spanish residency, our passports and my FC Barcelona Culer Premium account. Nevertheless, LiveFootballTickets cancelled our tickets.

Their original email literally stated:
“Fans from the away team country cannot buy tickets for the home section.”
Nationality is not the same as football allegiance. A Dutch person can support Barcelona, just as a Spanish person can support Feyenoord.

We explained the situation clearly and even showed that we are flying from Málaga to Barcelona in the morning and back home to Málaga that same evening. Our flights had already been booked.

Their response? The cancellation remained in place, supposedly for “safety reasons”.

In my opinion, refusing customers based solely on their nationality, rather than any actual evidence that they support the away team, is discriminatory and completely unacceptable.

Especially disappointing from a company advertising a “99.95% guarantee”.

I have never experienced anything like this before and sincerely hope I never will again.
