Booked four months ahead. Cancelled one month before. Left with nothing.
I booked a finca on Mallorca for the end of July back in late March, four full months in advance and at peak-season prices. My friends booked their flights in from Germany.
Then Novasol called END OF MAY - TWO MONTHS LATER: the owner hadn't blocked the dates correctly, so they had to cancel my confirmed booking. Their mistake, not mine.
Here's where it went from a mistake to a pattern. They told me they couldn't find me an alternative. My only options were to search their own website myself or take a refund. So I searched, found a property that worked, and sent it to them. No response. My lawyer emailed them. No response. I've called and emailed since. No response.
I'm now one month out from a trip I booked four months ago, with no accommodation, no alternative, and a company that won't pick up the phone or answer an email.
A booking error can happen. What's unacceptable is what came after: pushing the work of fixing their mistake onto me, then going silent the moment I needed them. If you're planning a trip that actually matters, especially in high season, book with someone who'll still be reachable when something goes wrong. Novasol wasn't.
