Great choice of wines
I had used xtrawine as the have a brilliant selection of Italian wines. However I put my account on hold due to really poor delivery from DHL - delivery emails giving wrong information etc. I reinstated my account when they started using FedEx. Believe me when I say this, they can deliver from Italy quicker than some UK suppliers can from within the UK! Great service and great wines👍🏻

A good selection of Italian wines. I used them as I like the wines of the South Tyrol which are very hard to get in UK. Easy ordering, a lot of information provided on the wines and producers. Taxes and customs paid by the company. Amazing speed of delivery - four days to UK from northern Italy! Wine arrived a a very well protected polystyrene wine box. First class experience.

Expensive disappointing champagne

My partner bought a bottle of this champagne for Christmas after reading good reviews. It was cloudy sour and undrinkable, spoilt in some way. He was understandably frustrated after the expense and that it impacted negatively on that particular moment of our Xmas day celebrations. He sent a terse email to the company and has had no reply. He does not pursue things but I am a bit more tenacious and I often feel it is the principle that counts and that it is how a complaint is dealt with that reflects back on the company and if you would deal with them again or recommend their products to others. I'm hoping that maybe they monitor this site and may respond to us on here?
