The manager who was my colleague is doing great things in the R& D department. But he also want to see direct result of the work preparation considering the electrical asset's on-site. With a little extra time I managed to do this too. Because it is a complex environment, have I lost time at the beginning ? At the same time there was a building expansion which could lead to a loss of focus by the noise.

I found Vivid support and assistance invaluable.

As mentioned in other reviews, feels like the purpose of their cold calls is data mining rather than actually trying to fill specific roles. I got two calls within a short period, from different consultants, I responded to the first with what I was looking for in the future (but happy where I am for now) with no response past that initial email. Fair enough what I’m after is pretty niche and I’m in no rush. The second call had no idea of the previous contact and starting asking about my manager’s name. Just really weird and intrusive. I’ve requested I be removed from their system after this second call, but based on other reviews it seems that doesn’t stop them.
Please do not contact me I am not looking for work.

My recruitment experience with Vivid Resourcing was perfectly clear and smooth. Daniel Reid always provided a highly professional and kind approach whenever I had some questions throughout the process, answering all my questions promptly, with full transparency and a great attention to detail. Thanks for your good work!
Prompt response, attention to details and carefully customized solutions are excellent points both in recruiting process and in the day-to-day activities.
Josh Burke was fantastic. One of the few agents that showed he really cared. Constant comms and dogged in his pursuit of gaining me a role.
Good support from Taylor to join and during contract. Set up my pension salary sacrifice without any hitches. Easy to use time sheet.
Did not give a clear indication of realistic earnings based on the day rate, however, systems are easy to use and they pay on time
I've worked with Joshua Johnson closely when he found me on LinkedIn for a complex position within Johnson&Johnson.
We talked on Monday and by Wednesday I was signing the contract.
I've never worked with a recruitment company that moved so fast before!
And the dedication he had to get me going was top notch.
I would recommend Vivid to anyone!
Great communication—informative, professional, and personal.
Excellent company to work with and my consultant is the best. Communication is top notch.
Let me start to tell that my contact person Daniel Reid is a great guy and does a good job.
As the owner of my own business, it feels very strange to work for a company that works for the client. The business model that the G2 Group promotes is a concept that will only work in the long run if they are truly good to the people who work for them and grow the company's revenue. Ultimately, these people can make or break the company if you treat them unfairly.
I am not saying that Vivid is good or bad, but in my opinion, there is a lot of room for improvement. To start with, the complexity of the hiring process. So many different forms have to be filled out and submitted before you are in the system. I think that many of them are certainly there to protect the G2 Group and have little to do with the person being hired.
Secondly, there is the standard contract that must be signed. This is actually a one-sided contract designed to avoid any liability for Vivid and all disadvantages for the contractor.
Thirdly, there is the human element. As mentioned earlier, it is a business model where the contractors do the work and Vivid pockets the profits. Yes, the contact person is there, of course, to provide support and to call occasionally to ask how things are going. Still, the feeling persists that you are a cash cow rather than one of them.
Normally, I work directly with all my clients, without an intermediary. Yes, Vivid’s network is larger and broader, allowing them to offer you a client you don't know yet. All credit to them, but also thanks to the determined, sometimes aggressive way they squeeze information out of you for new leads that have nothing to do with the offer. Purely to get a foot in the door with a new company that isn't yet in their network.
All in all, I don't find this way of working very pleasant, because I have no control and even feel (mis)used because of my experience. Yes, I certainly earn a good living from it, but I also have to give up a lot for it. As soon as all the documents are in order and the client agrees, it is up to me to show my experience. For the pre work you receive a huge paycheck every week. Perhaps a more personal approach would be a better option instead of a digital relationship.
Finally, the G2 Group is obliged to pay contractors on time for services rendered. Whether or not the client signs on time, do not keep contractors waiting for payment. Nothing is as demotivating as not being paid on time.
Henry Carne was my Liaison Officer. He not only got me a contract. He was with me all the way. He made sure I was in the right frame of mind to deliver to the client. I think that says it all.
My experience during my contract was very supportive. Following my contract ending, I had to chase to be paid by previous employer and there is still outstanding issue relating to garden leave payment and I chased and was promised an update but not received one.
I had the pleasure of working with James as my recruitment consultant, and I can honestly say the service he provided was exceptional from start to finish. He secured me a one‑year role at SWLAP and supported me throughout the entire process with professionalism, consistency, and genuine care.
James checked in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly, and he was always helpful, accommodating, and quick to respond whenever I needed anything. His communication, guidance, and commitment made the whole experience stress‑free, and I always felt looked after.
I’m truly grateful for his support and would highly recommend James to anyone looking for a consultant who goes above and beyond.
