I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about VIV Europe and the incredible team who guided us through our Portuguese residency journey over the past three years.

What started as an exciting move to Portugal turned into an incredibly long and sometimes stressful process, especially with the three-year wait for our AIMA appointment. Through all the delays, uncertainty, ups and downs, VIV Europe was there for us every step of the way.

They were not just our lawyers—they became the people we knew we could turn to whenever we had a question, a problem, or simply needed reassurance that we were on the right track. Their knowledge of Portuguese immigration law is truly exceptional, but what impressed us just as much was their responsiveness, patience, professionalism, and genuine care for their clients.

Is the service cheap? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

We decided to move to Portugal over 3 years ago before I had even retired. We contacted Viv Europe (after reading their reviews) and started the planning process so that as soon as I was retired, we could apply for D7 visas. Then, late last year, with only a few months of work left to go, Matheus started guiding us through the steps — NIFs, bank accounts, VFS appointment, accommodation, insurance, apostilles, and consular paperwork. Given Matheus’ expertise, we were able to successfully present our applications and our visas were granted 6 weeks later. We are very grateful to the entire Viv Europe staff and especially Victor and Kyle who have been instrumental, dedicated, and equally supportive and generous with their time. We know that we would not have been able to accomplish this much-desired goal without their indefatigable efforts. Thank you all again!

My non-European partner and I sought Victor's service in 2019, long before we actually left for Porto on tourist visas in 2021 due to being delayed by COVID. Victor was extremely friendly and willing to take calls from us and offer advice until we arrived. Once in Porto, he and his team helped us all the way with my partner's temporary residence visa application based on family reunion with me as an EU citizen able to reside in Portugal. What really stands out for us is his friendliness and reliability. Even though we left Portugal in late 2023, we still maintain contact with Victor, with a view to returning again in the near future, facing whatever are the present changed visa requirements. We last spoke to him very recently regarding an IRS submission.

Moving to Portugal sounds like a great adventure and can be a bucket list dream! It comes with lots of bureaucratic paperwork and collection of documents.
It was invaluable for my husband and I to have Viv Europe on our side. We faced many obstacles along the way but we were so expertly guided by the team at Viv Europe!
We have now received our Portugal visas and are finishing up on our move in October!!

Michelle and everyone at Viv Europe are wonderful. They secured a D7 visa appointment on March 25th with Houston VFS. I was quickly approved by the Washington, DC Portugal consulate by April 16th. This all happened because Michelle throughly prepared my paperwork. Please note the approval times vary depending on the consulate.

The team at Viv Europe are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The staff I interacted with were very supportive and patient. I truly enjoyed working through the process with them to get my visa. I have already recommended them to several people and I know one of them is currently using their services and happy with the level of support. Visa rules in Portugal are changing all the time. I couldn’t have successfully completed the Digital Nomad visa process without the assistance of Viv Europe. I look forward to continue working with them when I arrive in Portugal next month, while my residency card is put into place. I highly recommend them to anyone who is trying to get an any type of visa in Portugal - I believe they also provide services for Spain and Italy visas.
