Terrible service! They left the sofa in my house's entrance even though I paid (a lot more) to have it delivered in "the room of my choice". Afterwards, they denied having that option. I sent them a photo of the email they had sent me, stating exactly that. Their answer: "Well yeah, too bad"
They refuse any further communication.

1 star. Satan Climbed Out of the Bowels of Hell to Engineer This Product.
There is no other explanation. No well-intentioned company, no matter how incompetent, could produce something this comprehensively terrible by accident. Every single detail of this product causes harm. Let me walk you through it.
The hardware is a disgrace. I am not a casual DIYer. Before my career in tech I spent years as a professional carpenter building custom kitchens, bathrooms, and walk-in closets from scratch. I know wood, I know screws, I know assembly. Two screws stripped during careful, controlled assembly. Not overtightened. Careful. These screws would not survive a basic IKEA flatpack, let alone a product marketed as a child safety item. Assembly took me an entire day. Not because it is complex, but because the engineering fights you at every step.
The "safety" barrier creates new hazards. Once assembled, the structure presents multiple sharp edges and protrusions around the perimeter. I bled during assembly. An adult with years of carpentry experience, bleeding from a baby bed. The irony would be funny if my infant daughter were not the one sleeping next to it. IKEA, for the same price and with instructions a child could follow, produces furniture that does not injure the person building it.
The paint smells toxic. This is a children's bed. The paint has a strong, acrid chemical smell that does not remotely resemble any safe, child-grade finish. I cannot verify the composition, but I can tell you it does not smell biological or water-based. A safety product for infants should not raise questions about off-gassing.
The packaging is an environmental and financial punishment. IKEA uses cardboard and wood. Responsible. Recyclable. This product arrived encased in an obscene volume of Styrofoam, filling two 35-litre trash bags. In Switzerland, each trash bag costs CHF 3 to 5. So on top of everything else, this company charged me money to throw away their garbage. And the recycling instructions? Not in the manual, naturally. They put stickers directly on the product. Stickers that, when removed, left the entire surface covered in sticky residue. They could not be bothered to print one line in the assembly guide, so instead they permanently damaged the finish.
This product should not exist. Sharp edges around an infant bed. Stripped screws. Suspicious paint. Two bags of Styrofoam. Sticky residue across the frame. CHF 238.99 for something I carried into my garden and destroyed with my boots, which was genuinely the best moment of my entire day.
This product costs the same as IKEA. Not cheaper. The same price, for something that injured me, smells toxic, drowned my garden in Styrofoam, and left my baby without a safe bed. IKEA does not sell anything like this, and that is a compliment to IKEA.
I am buying raw wood and biological paint and building one myself. Because apparently in 2026, if you want a safe bed for your infant daughter, that is what it takes.
Do not buy this. Do not buy anything from Vie Moderne CH. And Vente-unique: you are responsible for what you platform. Review this product. Pull it. Because the only thing the Sicherheitsbarriere made safer is the manufacturer's profit margin.

All was good, very comfortable delivery

Very disappointing customer service.
As soon as they received my payment, everything seemed fine. But once there was a problem, their customer service became completely unhelpful.
I paid extra for apartment delivery, called customer service four times, and each time I was assured that the delivery change had been confirmed. This turned out to be false, and my order was still left downstairs.
I requested a refund weeks ago and I am still waiting. Instead of checking their own records, they are asking me to provide bank statements to prove that I have not received the refund. This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
Poor communication, false assurances, and terrible after-sales service. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Delivery is fast, good are well packaged

I have never experienced such poor communication and service. We received damaged deliveries TWICE, including the replacement delivery. Finding a solution with the company was impossible.After multiple of back and four to exchanges they offer a store credit when I never want to shop here again. On an order of 800 CHF. Never again!

I purchased a product from vente-unique.

The goods never arrived, when I contacted them to cancel the order and get my money back (in accordance with their published "30-day satisfaction" policy and guarantee. I was be told to contact a Chinese company! Basically it is not their problem, even though they took my money!

I paid vente-unique, not a Chinese company, therefore they should be responsible for the goods and the refund.

Anybody buying something from them should be extremely cautious!
