Overall, the site was easy to use. The one area that was frustrating was uploading the pictures and being told they were too glossy or had too much light on them. I think the issue was the passp... See more

This website seems to be a legitimate UK government site but charges an exorbitant fee for something the UK government offers for far less. The site spoofs an government official site with its layout and design. Do not use this site for any applications.
Pretty easy and convenient process. Took me 5 minutes to fill up the form at night and by the time I woke up - my UK-ETA approval was already in my inbox.
Do not use this company. You can get your UK visa with an identical process and for a fraction of what this fraudulent site is charging you. I put in my CC for a $172 charge then realized it wasn't the official site before taking a photo of my passport photo. And which time I canceled my application before submitting it and immediately requested a refund. After several back-and-forth emails in which they refused to refund $100 of what I spent, they issued me a partial refund of $71, literally pocketing the remaining balance and saying it was processing fees. This is a scam out to steal people's money, period.
I am giving UKVisaPortal one star because I believe their service was extremely misleading and grossly overpriced.
I mistakenly used UKVisaPortal, believing I was using the appropriate service to obtain our UK travel clearance. We were charged nearly $300 for two applications, when the official UK authorization cost would have been only a small fraction of that amount.
To be clear, we did ultimately receive our UK travel clearance, but I was very disappointed to learn afterward how much extra we had paid simply by going through this third-party company.
I contacted UKVisaPortal and requested a reasonable refund after realizing what had happened, but they would not agree to refund any portion of the fee.
I strongly recommend that travelers go directly to the official UK government website before paying a third-party company. Make sure you understand exactly what service you are purchasing and what the official government fee is before entering your payment information.
I wish I had researched UKVisaPortal more carefully before using it.
This site saved my life and allowed my boss to safely board his flight, which was taking off within a few hours, visa attached to his passport and ready to go. I paid extra for the 30 minutes but well worth the trouble if you need a visa very fast. This is the site to Goto very reliable. I am very thankful.

Great experience due to the extra mile people like Cha and Jesse go to when assisting applicants. Thanks!

I tried to use this website to apply for an ETA.I entered one email address, did the application, uploaded my information, and paid. Then it asked me to create an account. It said I couldn't use the gmail address which I had entered previously, so I used a different one of my email addresses. I thought it was done. But I never received a confirmation email at either email addresses (I checked my spam folders also and it wasn't in there either). When I sign in, it does not show any applications under my account. And then the kicker - the amount that I approved for payment increased. I am in Malaysia and it asked me to approve about RM190. And that's how much it took out of my bank account. But now today it shows a new amount, that it took out about RM560. What!! And with no evidence that I even have an application that is being processed. I am furious.
Simple process
Not time consuming
No tech issues
Quick turnaround and approval

This website is a scam. Let me explain how now that I've fallen for it myself.
UK Visa Portal does no work on your behalf except to collect and hand over your data (passport data page, passport style photo, answers to a few simple questions, UK government fee) to the UK government for processing, which can be done faster and more cheaply on the UK ETA official app.
The UK government then does the evaluation and issues the ETA or authorization.
Effectively, they do nothing for their fee.
They depend on first time visitors to the UK who mistake their website for the official UK ETA website because it comes up first on a web search.
After I cancelled my order and requested a full refund minutes after submitting it and realizing my mistake, I was denied. I then initiated a dispute with my credit card issuer to get a full refund.
Don't waste your time with the back and forth emails with them. They try to make you believe they have significant time invested reviewing your documents, which is simply not possible or true.
I'll come back here to update the outcome of my dispute when I get a decision from my credit card issuer or Visa.
For context, I'm an older person in the USA.
PS to add, they suffered a massive data breach in May 2026. If you used them prior to May, your data is probably on the dark web.
