Lying liars who lie

This site advertises cheap flights, lets you book the flights, and then a day later comes back and either tries to change your flight dates to weeks after your original dates or charge you more money because the seats aren’t guaranteed and are often not available when you book. And don’t even think about asking for a refund, cause they don’t do that either. So, either choose a flight weeks after you actually need to attend an event, or lose your money, or pay more than double what was originally offered. This site is exactly the reason I never trust low cost travel sites. Feeling pretty stupid at the moment.

Customer service is horrible.

Customer service is horrible.. They give you all these restrictions, like not bringing a carryon over 4 pounds and can’t sit together. Even though I didn’t confirm reservations and wanted it cancelled due to all restrictions, they told me I couldn’t cancel. Also can’t even understand them!! Beware they are scammers !

This sucks

I don’t like this service it was so hard to understand anyone that worked here. I purchased a ticket and then I have to call. I have to wait for an email to confirm the reservation, but I’m already unhooked for the money so I can’t cancel it because now I’m out the money because I have to wait for them to confirm my reservation is ridiculous. Every time I wanna change it they tell me oh it’s an extra $400. I wanna cancel it. They take over half of what I paid and now I have a credit for $208 that’s good for one year but I have to only use through them which I can’t stand the service and I will never recommend the service. But I guess that’s what they want that’s extra money to keep the doors open and keep doing this to people

Oh, and to top it off, I was told how to write this review! Obviously this is not what they wanted me to write!

SCAM!!! They goin to charge you extra money after you pay

This is a clear scam they going to sell you tickets for cheap once you call your to confirm your ticket
They are going to say that there is no seats available and you have to pay almost 2X money you already pay for.
In my opinion it's fake organization from India
I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FORM HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY EXTRA. just so you guys know the email of the ticket they sent you is clearly fake. And if you already paid for it call your back the bank and cancel the transactions!!

DO NOT BOOK!

Don’t book!! I know you want to have faith, read the fine print, and read the reviews, but if you want a stress-free experience, DO NOT BOOK.

*** My take: The reservation was never real, until the get you to agree to an up charge! ***

I read the fine print and the reviews before booking. None of the complaints I had seen seemed to apply to my reservation. I was contacted first thing in the morning, asked my preferred language, and transferred to an English-speaking representative named Kyle, who identified himself as a “Trip Supervisor.”
During the initial call, my bank declined the transaction. I immediately contacted my bank, authorized the transaction, and called TravoPort back less than 10 minutes later. At that point, the price had not changed, and Kyle told me he had confirmed that the seats were available before processing my payment.
About an hour later, Kyle called me back and told me there was an issue with my reservation: only one ticket had been confirmed, while my second passenger would be placed on standby for 48–72 hours at our layover destination.
I immediately asked what would happen with a hotel and food if we were stuck at the airport. I was told we would have to remain at the airport and that I would need to contact the airline regarding food compensation.
My question was simple: Why was I charged before being told that both tickets were not actually confirmed?
Kyle explained that this was a highly unusual situation and blamed the issue on my card initially declining. He said that although he had confirmed the seats were available, one of the seats was no longer available by the time the payment was processed. I asked to cancel the reservation because this was clearly NOT what I had agreed to purchase. I was told the ticket was non-refundable and that my only options were:
1. Keep the reservation with one passenger on standby for 48–72 hours.
2. Pay $750+ per passenger to upgrade to flights the following day.
3. Fly a day earlier for approximately $470 per passenger.
I explained that I was not willing to pay hundreds of dollars more because the reservation I agreed to was for both passengers to travel together. Kyle then said he could see what coupons he could apply and offered approximately $150 off each passenger to fly together the day before.
I again requested a refund. Instead of taking responsibility for the fact that I had been charged before being informed that both seats were not confirmed, he repeatedly blamed the original transaction decline. I acknowledged that the initial decline was on my end. What I could not accept was being told after the payment was successfully processed that my reservation had changed and that I now had to pay substantially more to receive what I originally thought I had purchased. If I had been told, “Because your card initially declined, the seat may no longer be available. Would you like to proceed anyway?” I would have said NO. I would not have knowingly risked having one of my passengers stranded at a layover airport for 48–72 hours.
I also asked to speak with someone else or a supervisor. I was not allowed to do so.
I told Kyle I would be filing a complaint and instructed him NOT to change, move, or modify the reservation. The call ended.
The following day, Kyle called again to remind me about the standby situation. I explained that we had already discussed it and asked why he was calling again. He said he wanted to make sure I was aware. I told him I was already aware and, since I had no choice at that point, again asked that the reservation be left exactly as it was.
He continued going in circles about my options and repeatedly emphasized that if I chose to fly together, that was my decision and “not their problem.”
The biggest issue for me is not that something went wrong. I understand that travel reservations can have complications. The issue is that I was charged first and informed afterward that the reservation I agreed to was no longer what I was getting — and then I was given the choice of accepting the risk or paying hundreds of dollars more.**
I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision before booking. **If you value having clear communication, confirmed seats, and a stress-free booking experience, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.**

**** Update! The charge fell off my account and the money was back after the 72 hour pending charge (8/20/2026) I received a call from Kyle the trip supervisor the same day asking if I was sure I didn’t want to upgrade my flight due to the standby issue. At this point I knew my money was returned, I didn’t mention it and just told him to stop calling me and to never call me again and hung up the call. Today (8/21/2026) I received a letter via email of my trip being canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances”

Do NOT book with this company!

Do NOT book with this company!! They will scam you out of your money! I don't travel often and I booked a really great rate online only to be called by an agent 3 days before my flight who told me I didn't have a seat on the flight. She said she could get me a seat if I upgraded but it was 3x the amount and it would be the only seat available that day, as all flight were booked full that day. So I booked with her. Got on the plane and 12+ empty seats!! Called and complained and asked for a partial refund and of course didn't get it!! Save your money don't book with Travoport!!
